But I don't think we'll see him much this season. Or maybe at all. Or maybe next season either" - Nahlin That goofy muthafucka never says anything without completely hedging back the other way. Just say it. The fat boy got his feelings hurt because Sark doesn't want to play his fat ass and refused to go in the game during garbage time. Several of his teammates got pissed and squared up to him and there was a light and brief physical misunderstanding. Trainers walked fat boy back to the locker room and probably 95% chance his ass is gone either during the season or to the portal.

Can anybody confirm?

September 28, 20241 yr I hope the kid gets his head screwed on right and gets a degree regardless of what happens with his football career, but I fucking love it that we have the kind of culture under Sark that he gets called out immediately for shit like this. All gas, no brakes - don’t be a goddamn brake. Edited September 28, 20241 yr by Ignatius
November 24, 20241 yr Popular Post Don't know anything on his situation, but it was good to see Sydir on the field today and make an actual play.

November 24, 20241 yr He’s played a few games in a row now and has been in on pivotal downs. Glad our coaches build players and don’t think they should be thrown away when adversity hits.
November 24, 20241 yr Another data point that the culture / sark knows how to manage a roster and maintain standards. 🤘
November 24, 20241 yr Popular Post After the Vernon Broughton reclamation this year, I think I’m about done writing off players under this staff.
November 24, 20241 yr He looked enormous yesterday. His back, torso look like they had to use a larger font so his name didn’t look tiny in his jersey.
November 24, 20241 yr After the Vernon Broughton reclamation this year, I think I’m about done writing off players under this staff. Same for me. There will always be some true JAG's that need to be shoved into the portal, (recruiting isn't an exact science) but this staff is not only retaining a lot of that type player but somehow getting them to perform at a high level. Broughton is a good example, but Gunnar Helm is by far the most impressive. From tall skinny kid that I thought would end up portaling out to somewhere like Colorado State, Wyoming etc...to the best TE in the SEC and possibly CFB as a whole.
November 24, 20241 yr After seeing that 500 .lb player that Florida has playing situationally, I'm thinking that maybe there's a place for Sydir in certain moments at Texas.

Helm wasn't ranked highly, but had good offers (Iowa, in particular).

If he continues to lose weight and dedicate himself this offseason, Mitchell can be a 20 snap/rotational guy next year. And that outcome would be remarkable considering he was 99% likely to bust in August.

I'm hoping he does the fatbody equivalent.

November 25, 20241 yr this fucking place. 99% of surly wrote this kid off for being a failed fat fuck bust three months ago. now everyone wants to credit the staff for "not giving up on him." lulz

November 14Nov 14 I feel bad for the kid. Yes, he is not doing himself any favors with his lack of work ethic, but Bo Davis has fucked him over twice and now it appears that Brian Kelly also fucked him over by essentially cutting him from the team.
November 14Nov 14 Kid needs to go home, Delaware or Rutgers and get snaps. Period end of story. He can get on the field at a lower level school and see if that can translate to a draft eligible score after next season. He needs better advise, P5 schools like Texas and LSU are not for him, from what Ive read on the boards and seen in action.

He's experiencing the consequences of his own actions. He's not a victim.

November 14Nov 14 This kid should just quit football and start doing food reviews and mukbangs on youtube
November 14Nov 14 No idea wtf a mukbang is, but I’m not googling it from my work computer. Not a chance.
