Anyone else having issues with Fox’s streaming coverage? I can’t wait for their contract to end. They have no business broadcasting golf.

I wish Fox didn't have so many mics on the course.  Golf fans are annoying.  Drunk golf fans are more annoying.  Drunk Long Island golf fans are the most annoying.

  • ZJ should drink a tall glass of shut the fuck up

Way to grow the game, USGA. Nothing like staring at a "Coverage will resume momentarily" screen that gets me motivated to play golf.

Also, even the shot tracker they have on usopen.com is wrong. They can't get anything right so far.

I think their coverage is excellent. Their technology is state of the art. Don’t love Buck though. But would love Holly Sanders long time.

Working from home today and tomorrow.  Just got home from dropping the kiddos off at VBS.  Just firing it up from the beginning of the Fox coverage on the DVR.  About 40 minutes behind real time.  I love US Open Thursday/Fridays.  Settled in for an awesome day of watching golf!

For those of you trying to use the US Open app, use Fox Sports Go instead - it's working flawlessly (assuming you have a FS1 subscription through cable/streaming).

Me too. Except retarded.

Just saw Jordan's bunker shot on 11.  Ouch.  That was a couple of inches from stopping and being bogey at worst.

Yes it does. Muchos Gracias.

Seeing a number of decent length putts go in.  Greens look like they're rolling pure today once you get there.  Tee to green is a different story with the wind.  Love it!

This coverage is horrible. So often they don't even give you a good idea of where a shot ends up. Just let Golf Channel run the morning coverage please.

Wow.  Rory absolutely butchering the 620 yard par 5 16.  Featured group not quite playing like it this morning.

Jordan with a MUCH needed birdie on 18 (his #9).

For as awful as he's playing, he's only 6 back now and that's with going +4 thru 2. He's still in this... Get it to +2 and he's got a shot.

You’re already worried about how many shots off the lead Jordan is? It’s Thursday morning. Half the field hasn’t even teed off.

Jordan needs to worry about making the cut. That’s it.

Agree!  I love this.

By the way, this course is very similar to Trinity Forest.  This is how TF could have played if the PGA hadn't neutered it.

Staying within 6 of the lead is a good way of doing that especially when conditions will be harder for the afternoon group.

But thanks for the lesson!

Wow!  Poulter almost had a hole in one.  Hit the pin, came to rest 5 inches from cup.

Rory is absolutely falling apart.

Just caught up to Jordan's birdie on 18.  Great putt.  Maybe that gets him going for his last 9 (front 9).

Buck:  Day for par, best putter on tour statistically.

Day: Promptly pulls it left from 3 ft.

Glad to see the announcer jinx is alive and well in golf too.

Yep. They need to “borrow” The Masters app. It is the best.

Hank Haney said he expects the winner to be over par.

This is hard to watch.

I picked Rory, Phil, and Spieth in a 8 person pool. Yeah!!!!!

That has to be worth some kind of award.  Not the day you expected huh?

Most strokes over par in a group where all three are in the Top 20 in the world?  Would be an obscure record to break.

Piercy goes 9/18 GIR and gets to the clubhouse in 1 under.  Meanwhile Phil has only missed one fairway and is 6 over.  Cruel game.

Maybe it shouldn’t be surprising that there are three Englishmen and two Scots high up on the leaderboard right now.

Was going to post this. The way the hell they skip around can't tell what's going on. Awhile back they showed Hoffman end up on cart path. Ten minutes later he's putting. But Holly is nice.

Cup microphones have to go

Especially when you hear it rattle in before the putt.
