I wish Fox didn't have so many mics on the course.  Golf fans are annoying.  Drunk golf fans are more annoying.  Drunk Long Island golf fans are the most annoying.

  • ZJ should drink a tall glass of shut the fuck up

I wish Fox would show some of the putts Justin Thomas talked about seeing roll off the greens

Fox will not do anything to ruffle the USGA’s feathers.

I’m curious if their ratings are impacted

I have a feeling Phil will withdraw tonight to avoid the bad press. It might be better for him in the long run he is out of contention anyway.

Not only will he play tomorrow, he's going to do it again just to fuck with everybody.

Correct. Tune into golf channel after Fox coverage and let’s see what Chamblee and the other dudes say.

the pressure on Berger tomorrow might be just a tad different than today.

It’s not the course, it’s the USGA setup. The course is great.

yeah that's what i meant.

what happened in '04 when the players were crying? was it the setup, weather, etc? how could they screw this up twice in a row.

#364

It's kind of unsportsmanlike but I'm getting to the point where I'm going to start rooting for players to shank their shots into the gallery just to take out some of the human p.a. systems in the gallery.

If I remember correctly the course burned up

Absolutely. Very annoying and fox coverage just sucks.

67 cards today, only five at par better — Finau and Berger with 66’s, the Barnrat with 68 and Woodland and Gay at 70.

Koepka’s assessment of his round was that he thought he played very well — and posted 72.

Woodland was in one of the first five or six groups out.  Pearcy was in the last group and Fleetwood the next to last group.  Woodland tees off after both of them tomorrow.

It certainly got harder as the day went on, but don't discount that it's a shit ton easier to go low in the morning when you're in 50th place than it is when you're in the top ten pegging it in the afternoon.

Finau made the cut by one stroke now he's 2nd.

Plus they have to keep hitting the dump button and it is annoying.

Definitely, and it's a good thing to remember about tomorrow.  Anything good posted early is just going to add to the pressure for the final groups.  Good luck to anyone who has to try to hold on to a one or two shot lead on the back nine tomorrow over someone who is sitting in the club house signing their scorecard.

Geez...did Phil sleep with Joe Buck's wife or something?  Let it fucking go already. Joe Buck needs to F off.

If Jordan had made the cit, who knows what happens.

Thought the same thing but he’s putting so poorly, I doubt he had an early 66 in him this week.

Berger and Finua going from absolute zero pressure in the third round to the most pressure they've ever had in round 4.

Johnson shot +1 on the back nine.  Course isn't that bad.

Come on.  Even the USGA is admitting it ended up being fucked.

Did they need to add 500 yards to the course? I get they wanted guys to hit more drivers, but they would have anyway with the wind blowing.

This. DJ played pretty well on the back nine. I think he finished with 38 putts.
