Only if you watch Rory's putter head when he puts.

He's putted well above his average this whole championship. Kinda like what Cam Smith was doing up until today. Can he stay hot again tomorrow?

Rory's giving Hovland and several other players behind him lots of hope right now.

Meh. Hovland has a shit lie too.

Hovland's putting from there?

Wow. What an excellent result.

So fucking pumped for tomorrow. Will be supremely pissed if he doesn’t finally get another one.

Season 9 Reaction GIF by The Office

Only the top 6 have a legit chance to win unless a wall of shit hits when the final 3 groups tee off and the conditions turn brutal.

I'm thinking Rory cards a 68 and wins by 3.

That implies hovland shoots a 71 or worse. I’m not seeing it.

I could see the pressure getting to him considering he doesn’t have a top 10 in a major in his career.

He had almost 10 years on not winning a major, he's already fucked up. Though I'm not saying he won't win it. Rory is certainly the favorite

Highlights: Dustin Johnson tops his drive on 18th hole in Rd. 3 at The Open | Golf Channel

On one of these huge greens, is it legal to use a wedge? Instead of putting? Or do you have to use a putter if you’re on the green?

I mean he's tied for the 54 hole lead at the British Open and was top 10 at the other three majors. His game is very not fucked up right now.

You can use whatever club you want. Additionally if you're on one of those huge shared greens even if you're on the side by the other pin it's technically a green in regulation and you can actually mark it, place your ball and then hit a wedge if you want

There’s a hole at Riviera (pretty sure that’s the course, but not certain) with a bunker in the middle of the green.  You’ll see some guys hit a wedge there if they are badly out of  position. Not really a problem with the pros, but I could see the groundskeeping crew having a problem with members gouging the greens.

I have to say that barring a miracle round from Scottie, I'm pulling for Rory.  I don't usually cheer for Euros, but he has won me over with the way he has carried himself over the years,  He's always been very gracious and respectful.  I've also really liked how he seems to have taken a leadership role with the PGA players during this LVI crap and I think he has a lot of respect in the locker room.

Edited by Hate

I’m 100% for Rory. He would be a crazy popular winner right now.
