Talked to a dad at school drop off this morning. His brother and 3 friends went to the last Austin FC home game and all 4 tested positive a week later.  Can't confirm that was were they got it by that was the only time the four of them were together recently.

Right after the game I had to go take a piss so I didn't burst once we got on the train.  Walking against the grain of the crowd coming towards me and I notice Claudio Reyna, in a suit, a phone to his

That. Was fucking. NUTS. Wildly frustrated that we couldn’t put more than one in with a man advantage, but my frustration didn’t appear to help them. My wife had a conflict, so I took one of my olde

The games usually have about 400 tickets on SeatGeek on game day. This morning there was still about 900. I'm sure it's a mixture of COVID and our inability to score goals, but there will likely be some empty seats at the stadium tonight.

Posted my Saturday tickets also. They’re for sale at the nice price of $69 each. If anyone’s interested they are in section 107, rows 10&11. The map is wrong and doesn’t show an aisle there. Each pair is on the aisle not in the middle of the row.

We’re going tonight, but we won’t be spending any time indoors at the beer hall, we’ll all wear masks the whole time, and I’m bringing some hand sanitizer with us as well.

Sheesh. F Covid.

I'm not going, so hopefully this continues our trend of only scoring goals when I'm not there.

Interesting - MLS rescinds suspension of Julio Cascante, making him eligible to play tonight against Vancouver.  I didn't see the reasoning, but it was unanimous.  I suppose it could have been that it wasn't a red card foul or could have been that the attacker was offsides.

Pretty serious thunder rumbling here in Dripping Springs... radar looks to move north. Wonder if any game delays (lightning in the vicinity) will result?

Is that Vancouver’s 4th corner kick? Inside 10 minutes?

gonna be a long night

Great pressure. Nifty build-up. Shitty shot on goal.

If that little sequence doesn't sum up the entire season, I don't know what would.

Time of possession is ugly

Our outside backs get roasted consistently.

Shockingly it's 50/50 right now... but we're used to more.

Still going nowhere, he’s got nothing, don’t foul

Still nothing

God damn it

To be fair, he only had to cover that guy because Lima was out of position and couldn’t make the recovery run.

Cecilio subbed out at 30' is... odd.

If he wasn't fit, he shouldn't have started.

Wolfe was irate on several of his passes. Even the players asked him wtf on that last giveaway

You are completely right.  Im fine with Ring.  It was just lazy/tired defending.
But when he already did the hard part by catching up to him, forcing him wide and slowed the play to a crawl, having your captain give away a free kick like that out of nothing just adds frustration to an already frustrating half.

He's been bad since the Dallas game capped off tonight with a putrid five turnover effort within 30 minutes. I hope he snaps out of this. Or gets healthy.

the giveaways have been terrible tonight

Decent chance to end it. Damn.

I hate when they work past the 18, get blocked, proceed to pass back until it gets to Stuver. They never make it much past midfield on the next build-up.

He’s fit. He’s just sucking hard.

Correct. He has been abysmal. And his one shot had NOTHING on it.

They’re. Been horrifyingly bad, and atypical. Of the many ways we find to suck, that’s not usually one of them.

Ring has been a bright spot, and it paid off, but still.

Poch really needs to put that on frame.

You have a macro for that?
