June 4, 20187 yr Got dammit. If any of you ever had to watch someone taken down by ALS, you know how awful it is. RIP. 49er great Dwight Clark dies at 61 https://www.sfgate.com/49ers/article/49er-great-Dwight-Clark-dies-at-61-12967034.php?utm_campaign=twitter-tablet&utm_source=CMS Sharing Button&utm_medium=social
June 5, 20187 yr RIP One of the most difficult things a doc can do is give that diagnoses. Really hope research can help in my lifetime.
June 5, 20187 yr Am I not allowed to hate him any more for "The Catch"? Terrible loss. Rest in peace.
June 5, 20187 yr My first cousin’s husband was diagnosed with ALS last year. They’re very well-to-do and doing all kinds of experimental type stuff to try and stave it off as long as possible. Just terrible.

June 5, 20187 yr I hope Tom Landry is head ballcoach in heaven and makes him do a thousand gassers and a million up-downs before he is admitted through the pearly gates.

June 10, 20187 yr Fuck this sucks. Hated him for the catch. Remember it like it was yesterday. But no one deserves ALS. RIP.
June 10, 20187 yr I debated putting him in my 2018 Dead Pool but I thought he would get another year. Now I have to redo my 2019 draft order.

Couldn't help but admire an incredible job on his part. Will always say montana was just throwing the ball away to avoid the sack and that's what made it so miraculous. I hated the 49ers for more than 2 decades, but Dwight Clark was not one of the reasons why. He was part of what's right about professional sports, both as a player and a front office guy. RIP, Dwight Clark.
