They play into May, right? Seems a bit early to be worrying about games in hand and all that.

End of April.

I would say no, given how close Notts is playing them in this race, every point is going to mater and yeah a few games in hand is important, even now.

Wrexham look way out of their depth so far, this has a 4-1 or 3-1 type match.
Yeah, the skill level differences are noticeable.

Wrexham look clunky and plodding. Sheffield look (not surprisingly), Championship level.

And yet they should have had them beaten last match.

2 on the keeper and Sheffield fails to score!!!

LOL, how the hell did Sheffield F that up

Shot way too early. Should have either passed or dribbled around the keeper. Shooting that early was really dumb.

Sheffield played their #2 team last go around. This time they are running out something closer to their Championship lineup. The jump in quality is noticeable.

Geez, Another blown chance for Sheffield. Hell of a save there.

And for those not aware Sheffield is 10 points clear of the 3rd place team in the Championship with a game in hand.

Lack of discipline on that run. The guy without the ball kept drifting offside (or close to it), taking away the pass on his own. He was even offside on the shot! had the ball come free on a rebound, he could have gotten called for it.

I was just about to say that... didn't notice that until the last replay, but yeah - it wasn't 2-on-1... the guy with the ball had no choice *BUT* to shoot.

Sheffield crowd breaking out the Arse chant... "Same old Wrexham... always cheating!" when Mullin gets mugged at midfield.

Heck of a shot, not much to be done.

Well let me rephrase that - they should have covered him better. But that was still nice.

BOOM!!! LEVEL!!!

Super Paul Mullin buries it!

Honors even in the 58th minute!

Holy shit. I'm not sure a brick wall would have stopped that shot.

It's not *not* happening... at least at this point.

I love how long, into the box, throw-ins are a tactic Wrexham uses, wish it was more of a thing at higher levels.

Watching how packed in Wrexham gets themselves on those plays and open to a counter, it now makes sense why not.

Another huge save by Lainton

Mullin grabbing at his hammie... hope it's just a cramp.

Uh oh.

Well - he's walking off... but to be subbed.  Cannon's not a bad replacement, but not Mullin-level.

And he wasn't limping. So that's good.

With VAR, that would've been a penalty.  Wrexham are lucky.

Agreed.

Except except with your conjugation. Wrexham is lucky
