So i tried Baba Yega and Pico's recently.  Both solid for brunch.  I'd go with Pico's over Baba but you can't go wrong with either.  Blueberry french toast at BY was a nice addition to the buffet.  Tell me where i should go next and what to avoid.

had nice brunch at etoile a couple weeks ago.  not a buffet. mussels mariniere were on point.

Cadilllac Bar doesn’t disappoint.

at least until you try their food.

I've actually found the brunch at top golf to but enjoyable. Hit some balls in between your trips to the bloody mary bar.

Bad recent lunch experience: Black Walnut. The location by the park is getting remodeled, so Rice Village has been insanely slammed on the weekends. I love the place, but they might be too busy for their own good. I’ll try again during off hours. Great bloody mary’s and breakfast menu. Lots of good memories of Entourage style brunches with the boys after tearing up Midtown the night before. Pro tip: You can skip the counter lines and order at the table with a QR code.

Good recent brunch experience: The Red Lion. They have to be only place in town that serves an authentic English breakfast. Blood pudding, bangers, bacon, fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, Heinz beans, and toast. They also have London Pride on tap. Amazing place and probably the last English pub in town. If you want something lighter, I’ve parked at Red Lion and walked across the street to Hot Bagel. Their lot is a war zone on the weekends, but you can get in and out on foot. Eat your bagel and go have a beer after.
