May 15, 20241 yr I mean, $2k for a hobby isn't the worst thing ever. I've known people who blow that at a strip club or in a casino in a weekend.
May 15, 20241 yr $2K for that little engine? What a fucking ripoff. You can buy an assembled Hemi crate engine for $5200. https://sdparts.com/i-24502316-mopar-68303088ac-5-7l-345ci-hemi-crate-engine.html

May 16, 20241 yr When I worked the NASCAR circuit, I just rented extra glass, of needed, depending on the track. Local shop hooked me up, and “the boss” was much more akin to expensing that as a write-off then outright purchasing. Part of me misses that time, part of me doesn’t.

June 13, 20241 yr Author Having raised a boy through little league, select, and high school baseball, I think this is actually pretty stinkin' genius. Probably cost a total of $10, and only about $.50 if you happen to have an old segment of 3" PVC laying around.
