Having seen Bert Auburn in-person around Austin, this REALLY does not inspire confidence...

(Although, a game-winning field goal from a skinny, ginger named "Auburn" against Bama would generate lots of great memes)

I always get Bert confused with Hank's kid, Laramie.

Hopefully they get significantly more up 5 scores 4 or 5 times this year.  That would be nice- to see walk ons play again b/c the outcome is out of hand.

We held a very good Louisiana Directional team to 18 last year. ULM is worse. The talent differential is just too much.

Maybe but Kansas scored 57 on us at home.

You are reading it backwards I think. Williams is down 10 pounds.

Yes I am.. I am just down here killing myself in the columns.

Well in your defense it's formatted backwards. We read left to right so it makes more sense to go chronologically from left to right.

Didn't hear anything today about the status of RoJo. I think we should rest him, even if he could play. If we need him to win, we're in deep shit. Also, I find it interesting that Taylor is always at the press conferences, but never asks a question. I think I've heard her ask one or two in the whole time LHN has been broadcasting these.

I guess nothing happened at Saturday's practice that was noteworthy enough for any of the writers to report. Either that or they all decided to take the weekend off, since it'll be their last for a while.

It was a glorified walk through.  The main purpose was to get acclimated to game day routines, especially for players new to the program - hotel, bus, taping, dress, stretching, half time, etc.

Wouldn't keep Whittington from getting scuffed up.

Rod Babers will join On Texas Football for Postgame Shows!

What’s the o/u on how many times he mentions Coach Akina or players from the late 90s/ early 2000s roster per week?

Per IT, though no discussion of PT..

Running back Roschon Johnson is back from his sprained ankle. The shorter timeline leads us to believe it was a regular sprain, not a high ankle. Hopefully that’s the case because high ankle sprains tend to linger.

Alfred Collins and Jahdae Barron are expected to practice full speed this week.

You could argue that Coburn peaked as a Freshmen and has gotten worse every year since

Same with Sweat. Sweat should be 315-320 and obliterating people.

This is where I'm at right now. Ewers said he's the even keeled; has the same demeanor whether we're down by 3 touchdowns or up by 3 touchdowns, so I'm hoping last year's trend was a Casey thing.

Sanders is the best TE and it's not particularly close. Helm is the 2nd best all around TE, but gets edged out by some of the experience and attributes of Billingsly. Juan Davis is the fastest, most dynamic TE and will be used in certain packages and looks.

The 4 deep at TE is ridiculous, if not for our absolutely absurd RB room the TE room is one of the best, if not the best in the country.

You should be very excited about this news.

Impressive results less than one year in.

IT also revised their long snapper projection to St Louis. That makes two scholly special team players who do not appear to be ready to earn their spot.

Would you say it is the best TE room money can buy?

The TE talent and depth hasn’t yet been proven on the field, but if these guys play to their rankings it could become the best TE position group in Texas history.  Koolaid.

I don't give a shit about Hookah's editorializing.

We have seen games with 3 punt blocks and games with 3 blocked extra points. We have seen the 2010 punt return and kick return teams fumble every other kick. It is kind of hard to envision something like nothing we've seen before.

Fucking A.  We need to hold an open try out for a kicker and see if there's a decent talent already on campus. Sometimes you get lucky.

Truly mind boggling that we have a guy on scholarship for long snapping that isn’t starting and maybe the same at PK. It’s a good thing numbers don’t matter or it would really feel like a waste.

Zero reason to have a horrible kicker. Our student body is too large   Gotta be someone out there

Kicking is more mechanical than most positions but this is still a real dumb argument. By that line of reasoning UCF should never miss a field goal.
