Saw this last night. Lots of concert, interviews, and video sequences intermingled. Visually very stunning.  Its not really a documentary. Don't expect a Ken Burns style of story telling.  If you don't know a whole lot about Bowie, this movie will not answer many questions.  It is more of a celebration of his music and artistry. It was unnecessarily loud, to the point of almost painful.

Thanks. Going tonight and bringing earplugs.

Classic Rock synopsis is correct. Probably more interesting to Bowie fans. Focuses on specific points in his career and doesn’t touch on others. We did enjoy it. Some great concert clips.
