January 30, 20241 yr Damn 4 pics total USC’s schedule is out, they don’t play Texas. This will be the sickest tourney of the season though…

February 6, 20241 yr Most of the big girl schools start play in 2.5 weeks, we don't even have a fucking schedule yet. We're not even on LSU's schedule, looks like TCU is the only top program we'll play this season.

That's a bit shocking because scheduling is done so late for beach, you'd think we could have scheduled some top teams. W/o a conference tournament and if we're playing a weak schedule, we may not get an at large bid for the tourney.
February 8, 20241 yr We have zero chance at the tourney, the girls we have this season aren’t very good.
February 9, 20241 yr I think we may have sleuthed together the entire schedule ourselves in the posts above
February 9, 20241 yr Our record will look halfway decent based simply on weak SOS, but only 16 duals isn't enough.

I know this isn't true, but it feels like looks were a criteria. It just seems like we have an unusually good looking beach volleyball team. Especially based on that pic with the schedule where they're all wearing boots.
February 10, 20241 yr Once you start to see more of the teams across the nation, you’ll realize damn near all of them are rather attractive. 18-22 year olds (almost all white) in great physical shape usually turns out well.

February 10, 20241 yr Real crazy part is after the opening tourney at Long Beach, we only play play three non-Texas schools rest of the way.

February 16, 20241 yr Somebody felt sorry for us & threw us a vote. USC gets 21 of 22, UCLA the other. FSU/TCU 3/4. https://www.avca.org/polls-awards/polls/?_divisions=national-collegiate-womens-beach
February 22, 20241 yr Thought exercise for the group. With UT moving to the SEC, the SEC now has 3 beach volleyball teams (LSU, USCe, UT). If another school adds beach, that's enough for a conference as Big12 has ASU, AU, Utah and TCU. So what SEC school is most likely to add a beach team? Originally I would have thought Florida because of all the local beach players, but I've heard rumors their indoor head coach doesn't like beach. The Tennessee satellite schools already have two, UT-Martin and UT-Chattanooga so that would be my pick. If the SEC doesn't have a conference, what conference does UT join?
February 22, 20241 yr CCSA, SEC & B12 don’t need one. Quote Members: Florida State, Grand Canyon, Louisiana State, Missouri State, South Carolina, Texas Christian
February 22, 20241 yr That was last season, TCU is in C-USA for ‘24. https://conferenceusa.com/standings.aspx?standings=131
February 22, 20241 yr Wish this was streamed somewhere. Molly doesn’t crack the starting 5 lines. Shit, it’s already over. 4-1 USC, only dropped the 5s. Edited February 22, 20241 yr by shadow_operative2.0

February 22, 20241 yr Of course not. LA in your last semester with by far the best team, or IM fields with an also-ran?

Exactly, chance for a national championship and a full season. I hope she's able to travel with the team as an alternate even if she's not playing

February 24, 20241 yr Stanford beat #2 UCLA 3-2 today. They're quickly becoming the early national championship favorite
February 24, 20241 yr No, they're not. I would take USC 100 out of 100 times in a dual that mattered.

March 8, 20241 yr Headed to Tulane v. TCU shortly. Will likely be a sweep, but at least they’re playing.
