“I grabbed it off the hook and said, ‘Take a picture for the photo contest,’” Bisceglia told HuffPost.

She put the cephalopod on her face and said the tentacles covered her ears and nose.

It was perfect for a fun photo, except when the octopus bit down on her chin.

“[My friends] noticed my face had changed,” she said. “We couldn’t get the beak to dislodge ― it was like a prong.”

Bisceglia waited two days until the fishing derby was over to seek medical attention.

That may not have been the best move, as the left side of her face was paralyzed and there was lots of swelling.

“They took me in stat, but the IVs didn’t work and my arm swelled up like an elephant,” she said.

Now she is on antibiotics and a quest of sorts.

“I want people not to do what I did,” she said. “My advice is, know what you’re touching beforehand.”

Bisceglia did get revenge of sorts: She boiled and grilled the creature and served it on a salad.

A few years ago in Bridgeland (Cypress) this happened except it was a landscaping trailer and the dude was going so fast it split his helmet and his skull and died on the spot.

It wasn't very lol.

This may be the greatest video of all time. I think I’ll watch that a few thousand times before I go to bed tonight.

U know what I couldn’t agree more... ppl 55 years or older need to stay off the road, have their licenses revoked & have personal drivers. Their “cautious” and slow driving causes more accidents than preventing them.

That was not "cautions" or slow driving, that was an idiot that almost missed the exit and caused an accident being too stupid and selfish to just accept that you missed it and move on to the next exit.

Or a normal day heading North on Mopac around the 183 exit.

One would think that is a carryon item instead of checked baggage. Never know when an emergency situation might arise.
