First thing I thought of well. The Office (original) is the best office.

I’ve never seen it, so I’ll have to disagree with you.

I'm old. Please explain this to me.

Perhaps the reality of how fucking stupid she is finally set in. Self awareness can be painful, but it's healthy.

Is there a link to go with this?  (Apologies if it is there already.  Work firewall blocks all kinds of random stuff in these threads.)

Basically it’s partly true.

They weren’t trying or prove the point all humans are kind, they apparently were just fucking oblivious to the fact that the Middle East and surrounding areas isn’t always safe.

They were doing some bike around the world adventure for peace or some shit. ISIS tolled upnon them and another 2 people and ran them over and possibly shot them afterwards.

This one could go in the "stupid things wives do" thread also.

I hope that is from theonion.com. if not, wow.

Meh. Even ISIS won't bother you if you don't aggravate them. Granted, not aggravating them means dressing like a dork and not saying anything interesting, but still. A person with manners can go anywhere in the world without fear. These two did not have manners.

Are you willing to bet your life on that POV?

Walden, I enjoy your posts, and think you're a smart man.  But you're wrong on this.  There are many, many examples of well-mannered, well-intentioned people getting beat up or killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Some people will just hate other people, and try to do them harm.

Actually, I kinda have before. Not with ISIS, but with Mexican cartels, Russian mafia, and South African rugby players. The South Africans were undoubtedly the scariest, but all the same, none of them gave a fuck. Most evil people only kill people if they have a legit reason, and you have to give them one, more often than not.

That's fair enough. There's an element of randomness to crazy that does have to be accounted for, but it's no higher with Middle East whack jobs than it is with East Texas meth heads.
