ULM Warhawks @ Longhorns 7PM on LHN - The Mullet Hath Arriveth

Honestly Ewers isn't anywhere near ready for next week. He started this horribly then Sark protected him with easy quick short throws that aren't going to cut it against Bama. All of his long throws were off.

Good news is Sark looks to have boosted the talent and fight level at DL, LB, TE, OL, and our RBs and Receivers look legit. Just need Ewers to grow.

You mean a freshman that’s surrounded by underclassmen won’t be ready to take on the most dominant team in history of CFB by week 2????

Anyone actually thinking we don't look any better than last year, this is our last year OL and QB in right now.

He's more ready than Card.

I'm pretty satisfied.  Not everything was great, but a lot was better than expected.  Our depth still needs work a lot of places.

Ewers was jumping while throwing on a number of throws. I haven’t seen him do that before. He should try a plant leg, it might help those deep balls.

We ain’t gonna beat Bama unless their team plane flies into the gulf.

I'll take it.  Sanders looked really good.

He's been in two college football programs for a season and two off seasons.  He's not a freshman.

Understand.  I was in the stands when Texas lost to Notre Dame in 1977 season. Texas loss to Georgia in 1984 on a dropped punt was fucking brutal but the Bama loss in 2009 was probably the worst because of losing Colt on first drive.  He would have won that game.

No but he was active. Very active

Sorrell and Overshown both look like they took some big steps this offseason

Ewers and Card - 20-29 - 69% passing

Broughton was also generally productive when he played low

Not that it won’t help his throwing overall, but I don’t think not jumping is going to help him throw with less power.

The best thing about next week is you don't have to pay anything to watch a MasterClass.

Bullshit and only one off season. He got to OSU right before fall camp started.

Hang on a fuckin second. THATS OUR REAL PUNTER? I was hoping the main guy had Covid or sumn

Bad take. Ewers got to Columbus in August of last year and Day admitted himself it was hard to get him snaps during practice.

Fuck... Billingsly serving a 6 game suspension from his time at Bama.. so most likely popped hot on the NCAA drug testing

Lowell Galindo could really improve if someone added a couple shots of lye into his skinny Carmel macchiato….( ala The Pope of Greenwich Village)

since when the fuck does the NCAA give out a half year suspension that doesnt involve drugs?

I thought I saw where he would dress out but not play on one of the threads in here a day ago. Don’t remember and too lazy to hunt it down.

He was dressed but did not play.  9.95ers continue to slap fight.
