My wife decided I needed to reduce my testosterone, so she dragged me to Target with our granddaughter (we’re in Iowa). There was a guy in a Hawkeyes shirt shopping with his wife. I asked him why he wasn’t in front of a tv right now, and he started to say something until his wife gave him the look.

He’s not missing much. Michigan leads 13-0 at the half and the Iowa offense hasn’t put up much of a fight. Iowa fans were booing in the first qtr after their QB overthrew two open receivers in back-to-back plays.

Are they going to give TCU the first down as a makeup call?

Nope.

I’d volunteer to make target runs instead of watching the Hawkeye offense

I relate to this.

Think the next 30 minutes will determine the outcome of this UK/OM game.

Hey number 2, your job on that screen play is to block that guy.

TD Michigan, they lead 20-0. No chance in hell the Hawks come back from that. The game was probably over at halftime but it definitely is now.

Iowa should put their backup QB in. It couldn’t hurt to give him some game reps.

Dumbass tripped his own teammate who was loose for a possible TD.

Holy shit

Who was the ineligible receiver?  Was a TE covered up?

Everyone should be eligible, hilarity ensues... Plus, Herb Scott has a reception in his NFL career.

Um.... how is that not PI?

One of these snaps is going to end up a turnover

If you rush 3, he'll just stand there until a receiver finally breaks open.

This infuriates me more than any other coaching decision.

FG here would be good outcome for D.

Bingo

Um, maybe not.  They're going?

Total dumbass move, I don't care what the analytics say.

Didnt like that playcall.

Wow refs just screwed Navy by allowing a sub by Air Force and running out the play clock on them

If Navy made a sub late that's perfectly legal.

Targeting is so pathetically enforced.

If the official is gonna prevent the snap all the way to the expiration of the play clock, that's bullshit.  They need to reset to 25

Not sure i agree with your po!ice work there, Todd. (Targeting?)

if the runner lowers his front body, head first, how exactly should you be expected to tackle him?

Thought it was a good no call.

Wow!

Rigged!

Well shit.

Levis has an issue with ho!ding the ball too long, entertaining game nonetheless.

How do you not take your time at first and goal from the 7??? That is so strange.

With that line it can be and was fatal.

Kentucky wins if they hang on an extra second to hike the ball

Especially when you haven't done it all game.

Maybe.  They take the lead but victory was far from secured if they had score, seen that movie all too often.

Even if they waited a half second, they would have scored with 50ish seconds left on the clock. Ole Miss still had timeouts left! Kentucky was going to give them too much time. Maybe they still win, but holy smokes there was absolutely no reason to speed up the tempo in that situation.

Nvm...  Math is hard.

The simplistic answer would be "not with the lowered crown of your helmet."   It wouldn't be an issue if guys would keep their heads up and keept their eyes on what they're tackling, but I know it's next to impossible not to lower your head when you're lowering your shoulder. It's just instinct.
