Whats the incorrect statement?

That Helm should have caught it. We are talking about the slant in the red zone right? That was a horrible throw that no one is catching. Saying otherwise is factually incorrect.

Can someone please show this loser some titties so he can complete a fucking pass?

This is the only ass Ewers deserves. Dude has been surrounded with NFL talent his whole time here and hasn't broken through in 3 years. His stats have been severely padded by playmakers turning 3-6 yard catches into 10 to 40 yards.

No matter what happens the rest of the game, we lose.

Either we actually lose, or we stick with this bullshit moving forward.

If you told me right now Arch takes over with a loss to Arky, I take it.

We should have never gave the job back to Quinn in the Georgia game. Dumb decision. Roll with Arch and let that era begin. Quinn isn't taking us anywhere

I agree. If you look at the long game for this season and next, we've made our bed.

Credit where credit is due: that was a hell of a TD throw.

Just wish he would ball like this all the time, not 25% of the time.

That's where he's elite.

We know he throws great screens and short outs, it’s the rest of the throws that are the problem….

Right. I said that myself a couple of pages back. Just circling back to give him credit where it's due.

I’ve come to a conclusion that may not be groundbreaking or novel to this thread.

The most frustrating thing with Quinn is that the stuff he’s good at, he’s really really good at. Short and intermediate accuracy, and progressions are in that bucket.

But the things he’s bad at, he’s really really bad at. Like pocket manipulation and deep throws.

So if you can force him into his bad stuff, we look like shit. But if you can’t, we look unstoppable.

Quinn Ewers has insane arm talent, but no brain.  He can make all-world throws against man defense, but is completely ineffective against zone.  Man requires eyes; all you have to do is see.  Zone requires a brain, because you have to think/calculate and decide.

Man defense:

1.  "Where is the WR/TE (singular, present)?"

2.  "Where is the defender (singular, present)?"

3.  Make the throw or change to a different WR/TE.

Zone defense -

1.  "Where are the WRs/TEs going to be (plural, future)?"

2.  "Where are the defenders and will they still be there (plural, present and future)?"

3.  Make a decision.

4.  "Oh shit, I can't."

5.  Check down.

Well we're lucky as fuck that deep throw was thrown 12 yards too far. If it had been on target it would have been an easy pick.

New motto. Quinn Ewers He’s Not Who We Thought He Was!  The lack of development and improvement from last year is a huge bummer.  At the start of the season I thought the footwork would be much improved, the deep ball was going to be great and we would have 2 1,000 yard receivers.

23-6 as a starter if you exclude the 2022 Alabama game. On the other hand that game may be the best he ever looked. But I'll take the results.

He's not going to take off. He is who he is. His success is largely dependent on the opponent. Those that can contain our screen/horizontal game will make him look average to terrible. Those that can't will make him look good.

But everyone should understand that he is who he is. There is no such thing as good Quinn or bad Quinn.

brain fart, alot of you dont remember '23 at all if you dont think he can take off

we basically just spent the entire 2H running the ball just to avoid quinn having to even try to throw/not get sacked. what exactly makes you think that he’s right on the verge of “taking off”?

#14248

He has literally already shown he can

When second half started they said Sark wanted to re-establish the run game. I remember this cause he never established it to begin with

1st half tally

1 self-sack

2 wide open deep balls overthrown by 5 yards

prognosis: not great, bob

forecast: sark is going to have to pull him again at some point, i'm just glad he already set the precedent against georgia
