we keep having guys either wide open or 1 on 1 deep and the throws aren’t even close. we are so handicapped offensively.

another lofted, underthrown deep ball that could have been a TD with a good throw. that said, the underthrow resulted in a DPI that wasn’t called, which is a theme today.

I have now accepted it. It is crazy going from the Big 12 to the SEC. The SEC lets DBs plays and even calls phantom holds. Refs on the side of the defense. In the Big 12 it was the exact opposite

he's gimpy

Yep. Arch better be ready to go next week. Or even in this 2nd half if we can stretch the lead.

That ball goes out of bounds if thrown harder

On tnat last TD drive, the throw to 11 was a nice job staying in the pocket with a little contact and making a play/. I agree with the comments upthread about him making a play or two taking the yards with his legs boosting his confidence and level of play/. Seems to be the case somewhat so far.

only because QE throws the ball so unnecessarily high. bond had his man beaten, and a more firm, less lifted throw would have been an easy TD.

@skipmcgee so you’re just negging factual posts that hurt your feelings. what a pussy.

Quinn has zero idea about touch. It's either 10 yards over thrown or a lofty softball where the WR has to stop and the DB is able to recover and make a play. Or completely missing a guy wide open because he's only making one read and going to him regardless of how the play unfolds. He's awesome at handcuffing this offense. Sure, it doesn't make a shit against the likes of Kentucky or Florida. But we saw how it cost us against Georgia. It gets real after this week. Aggy isn't an awesome team but you dick around enough like Quinn does, they can beat you.

anyone here who thinks quinn has been throwing good deep balls today lives in an alternate reality.

Good compared to normal. They’ve all been catchable and 100% of them should have drawn DPI. That said the reason I say good for him is because they typically suck so this is a step forward.

every single one of them has been underthrown and/or thrown to the wrong shoulder. nobody will use his first half film as examples of objectively good deep balls. when your receivers have to slow down or stop running every single time you throw a deep ball into single coverage, that’s not good.

Halfway to 4tds and 350 yards but all we got was bitching about perfection.

maybe the WR coach should take some heat for not teaching how to win a tossup

Consider the source.  He’s a natural.  A natural fucking idiot!

Maybe good English to beat Aggy.

His best throws today so far, which were really good, were great touch passes.

The one over the leaping linebacker to Bond was a beaut.
#15730

Yep. He has bad touch on deep passes for sure. That hasn’t held him back from 177 yards and 2 TDs in a half so meh.

Not even touch. It is left to right. It’s got the predictability of a punt at this point.

None of that is a disagreement with what I was saying. They haven’t been great- they have all been catchable and all should have been flagged.

quinn is basically immobile right now, he should not be out there.

Agreed, Not when you have a decent lead and a decent backup with experience sitting on the bench who you might need later

#15741

and that’s why you shouldn’t have an immobile qb out there. jesus christ.

Sark has a bizarre fascination with this dude.

Head coach/OC likes starting quarterback. Abnormal!

#15746

I texted a couple people at the game we were going to see arch staff the second half. It’s like the easiest decision ever with how limited Quinn is right now. Dumb.

#15748

Sark is afraid to put Arch in and have him look better than Quinn. So it’s run game and screens the rest of the way.

This dude is made of glass. Was playing well today and gets rolled up on and is now injured Quinn again.

Lmao. If you think this then he should be fired.
