Quinn Ewers was a far better runner than Colt McCoy.

Vs this (video starts at Quinn’s run at 2:13) - and yes we all know Quinn had a bum ankle.

I have to agree with this, particularly if it refers to the level of my desire to lick the sweat off of them after a game.

The likelihood of that happening is pretty much equally low in either case.

Good for Quinn, although I don't exactly understand what the fuck Panini is thinking here forking over $3M, if the report is accurate.

Miami Dolphins rookie Quinn Ewers has reportedly signed an exclusive autograph trading card deal worth $3 million deal with Panini. The deal comes shortly after the former Texas quarterback wrapped up rookie minicamp with the Dolphins.

The deal is notable for the fact that Ewers was the Dolphins’ seventh-round pick in last month’s 2025 NFL Draft. As the No. 231 overall pick, his contract his expected to pay out a total of $4.3 million over his four-year rookie deal.

Just when I think this thread can’t get any worse, you fuckers bring up Chris Simms

yeah, he’s up there, but at his best he was so much better than QE ever was. go back and watch that A&M game Roy’s freshman year. Simms looked like the biggest lock for no.1 overall pick ever in that game. big, strong, accurate, *huge* arm, just firing missiles all over the field. he also no doubt had a toughness about him that QE just doesn’t have.

I think our OL now was much better than his

Subject: Ticket Opened for Your Computer Issue — Loaner Available

Dear Sawbonz,

We wanted to let you know that a support ticket has been opened in your name regarding the issue you've been experiencing with your computer — specifically, the problem where the Quinn Ewers thread forum keeps opening and forcing you to read it against your will.

Our IT team is currently investigating the cause and working toward a resolution. In the meantime, we have a 2003 Dell loaner computer available for you to use ( Sorry. @immamac spent our budget on blow and hookers) so you can stay productive while we complete the necessary repairs.

Please stop by the IT desk on the third floor at your earliest convenience to pick up the loaner.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope to have your system back to normal as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Your Surly Horns IT Team

Just catching up, so SIAP...

Many have wondered if Quinn Ewers experienced second thoughts about leaving college for the NFL. The reported value of a new endorsement should lessen the murmurs about how much money he cost himself.

Ewers reportedly turned down as much as $8 million to transfer from Texas to another college program. The quarterback instead declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, where the Miami Dolphins selected him in the seventh round. As the No. 231 selection, Ewers will begin his career on a four-year, $4.3 million rookie contract.

Fortunately, players can keep lining up sponsorships as professionals. On Friday, Ewers revealed an exclusive autographed trading card deal with Panini America.  According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the agreement with Panini is worth $3 million.

Good for Ewers, but why the fuck is a 3rd-string QB's autograph worth $3MM?

I'm pretty sure it's not $3M per card.  Outside of the UT connection, I'd be curious to find out how many years are locked up in the agreement, and what other players are getting.

Yes, I understand that. Why would any amount of Ewers signatures be worth $3MM?

Exactly.  I've been saying this for years now, and all I catch is shit for it.  Personal attacks, neg rep, threats of banning, ACTUAL banning (at my request).

Funny how it started modern then went old-timey for a while:

1997-2012 logo was the Dolphins' best, IMO. Jersey color is too light now, too. Gimme the Czonka - Griese era Aqua.

good call.  I guess I was considering the 1966 to 2012 basically the same logo/style.

Most teams shouldn't fuck with their logo/style - especially Jacksonville and Denver, whose throwbacks outshine their current looks.
