Ewers with 283 yards rushing and passing

Bama isnt invincible, but they are definitely top 3 or better.  We are better this year, so we have hope.  I think Sark can figure out some ways to put points on the board.  But Bama defenses force two turnovers on the young QB/O line

Bama 43

Tex 27 (2td passing, 1 TD rushing, 2 fg)

Ewers - 20/28, 1 pick;  1 fumble on a blind side hit coming off RT, total 229 yards. 2td, 1 to Sanders, 1 to Worthy. Total rushing 140 yards

Bijon -20 touches, 165 total yards- split  almost qually run/pass. 1 TD

I think Bama passes for 295 and runs for 164

Despite 16 point loss, we see encouraging signs at QB, OL, and DL.

Only lose 2 other games rest of year with 9-3 record.

Bama: 48
Good guys: 21

Quinn: 160 combined

Hope I'm totally wrong.  We'll know a lot more about this team by tomorrow afternoon.

Bama 30

Ewers 369

Texas 34

Bama  41

Ewers 269 passing   -43 rushing (sack yards still count against qb?). 226 total.   3 TDs : 2 picks

Fuck that.  Disregard the above.

TEXAS 44

BAMA 41

Ewers 366 passing  , -22 rushing total 344 and 4 TDs 2picks

Worthy catches 2 TD Over Kool-aid.

38-31 Alabama over Texas.  Ewers combines for 295 yards.

Alabama 35, Texas 24

Ewers for total of 266

Bama 45
Horns 28

Ewers 242 passing 6 rushing combined 248

Saban has shown to struggle against offenses like this. If Sark can get these guys to buy init wouldnt shock me to keep this close. Anything can happen.

Texas 31-30 Alabama

Ewers for 285

I haven't the slightest clue how this games goes. Alabama is going to squeeze mid and short range in defense, daring texas to improve on their horrific deep passing last week.

Will settle up tomorrow I the main thread for money for the year.
gutting loss when we should have won. Should go 10-2 if Quinn gets healthy.

Looks like the low balls are going to get the Ewers prop bet

Ewers unofficially with 134, all passing. A quick scan I think Futureman won with 149 yards (15 over). I had 116 (18 under). I would donate my winnings back into the pot, or to Surly, whatever. I was being harshly pessimistic, not expecting an injury, much less after carving Bama up for a few drives.

My heart says Ewers lives for these moments and steps up like he did against Duncanville in the playoffs. 34-27 Horns.

Shock The Nation Tour returns!

Sideshow Bob hits a 45-yd FG to win the game!

Ewers and Worthy find their rhythm. Ewers hits 313-yds total. (Sacks don't subtract, right?)

The Brazos river floods as aggy tears overwhelm the banks. Bama fails to make the playoffs and Saban retires rather than face Sark in the SEC. Jimbo burns aggy bridges trying to get the Bama job and ends up in Nebraska.

we win on a kick by Auburn to beat Bama because of the irony.  But Auburn misses 2 extra points.

I’ll be ready to watch all you bama dickriders make excuses when this one is finished.

Ewers 300 yards.

The best of the thread. Will post winners and stuff on the season recap leaderboard tomorrow, Hint- I’m not likely declaring the winner of the prop to be someone who got all mopey and said we were going to lose by eleventy million and QE sucks and we are terrible. That’s not what the point of this thing is supposed to be.

Could have been the score if the refs hadn't fucked us out of the safety  (yes I know Alabama wouldn't have kicked a FG at the end) .

You laid money on Texas outright? I'd Sooner have expected hell to freeze over.

Yeah I had a feeling on this one and CTJ’s post along with some mushrooms made me push it to a decent chunk of change.  Things were broken.
