He seemed like a decent enough guy.

RIP

Damn near a saint compared to who succeeded him.

Knew Coach Morriss, his wife, and daughters. Tremendous people all around. RIP Coach.

And all Baylor fans will forever love him for this:

Dave South was such a treasure -- for Longhorn fans!

I’ll say one thing about that call with Dave South. You knew by the home crowd sound/reaction what just happened! The professional commentators in the MLB and NFL let the crowd noise “sink in” prior to talking over the play at hand. That was properly responded(quiet) by Dave South - IMO, even though he’s aggy.

I don't think so.  He was speechless.  As he said "I never thought I'd see it".

Guy Morriss was already playing with the Eagles when the got a young Jerry Sizemore from UT. They were a magical team in the early 80s and reached the Super Bowl after Dick Vermeil took over, losing to the Raiders.

Even as a Cowboys/Longhorns fan, I say you had a great impact and life well lived, to a former Horned Frog. RIP Coach Moriss!

Hook’em!

I've experienced the heartbreak of dementia on both sides of our families and there is nothing more cruel.  The look from their eyes tells you they know what is going on but they just cannot speak.  I'm glad Coach Morriss doesn't suffer this any longer.  RIP big guy.  Ride that Harley to the sky.

Alzheimer’s.

This is right up there with cancer on the evil piece of shit list.

Fuck Alzheimer's.  Fuck cancer.

I haven't heard that clip in 18 years.

And it's still pure gold.

Thought he had the UK FB program going in right direction after the Mumme debacle, hated to see him leave.  RIP.

One of my worst days in Jack Trice was watching his squad get their first ever Big 12 road win.  I still have nightmares of Shawn Bell walking 16 yards to get a first down on a 3rd and 15.

RIP.

Damn. Sorry to see this, he was a pretty straight shooter and I  don't think you can ask for much more. Doesn't help that he was 8 years younger than I am. No personal family experience with Alzheimer's, but y'alls' stories are brutal. RIP, Guy.

Guy is probably best known for the premature Gatorade bath just before the Bluegrass Miracle was pulled off by LSU.

What's wrong with Rich Brooks?

He knows what he did.
