September 7, 20223 yr Porcupines are cool as shit. Teach your doggos to stay away from them (or get a fence).

September 7, 20223 yr Caught several in a fence line snare before. Maybe a catch ‘em alive trap with some ripe fruit?

He’s killed seven, and five of those have sent him to the vet ER. Hopefully OP’s Great Pyrenees is smarter than the whatever-breed I adopted from the humane society.

Some dogs seems to always go back and touch that hot stove over and over.....just like people I guess. What's the dog lingo equivalent of "Hold my beer; y'all watch this." Most only need one encounter with a badger, porcupine, or rattlebug.

July 30Jul 30 Necro-bump. Just happened to one of my dogs and my daughter's dog in our back yard. Crap. Any solutions for ridding our yard of this creature?

July 30Jul 30 I’m guessing the neighbors would call the cops. Sprayed parts of property line with ammonia + water - high ammonia concentration. Armadillo just outside the fence line scurried away. My dog that was unscathed has 3 armadillo kills in our back yard in the past 6 years. Glad we did not increase that count.
July 30Jul 30 It's an evolutionary selection event. If Fido doesn't know better, he'll remove himself from the gene pool.
