Yes!!! Looking forward to that one.

Also have tickets for Erasure at Moody.

For anyone interested, I saw an announcement yesterday for three Jason Isbell shows last weekend of August at Bass. Tickets on sale this Friday, April 20.

Demilich and Blood Incantation May 13 at the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta. I'm sure I'll see most of you there.

You take what you can get. I'm seeing Black Star Rider Thursday night, its the closest I'll ever come to seeing Thin Lizzy.

Just got tix for The Cult, Bush and STP in August for Bham. Sadly, not the full STP, not sure about the others, if they are the original lineup.

David Byrne on Tuesday at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas.

Ho-lee-fuck

Today Neil Young announces a surprise 2 nights playing with Crazy Horse for the 1st time since 2014.

Figured out the presale and jumped on it immediatley.

2 seats, 6th row, center stage for the 2nd night.

The kicker is that the show is in fucking Fresno on a Wednesday.

David Byrne on saturday at white oak, hopefully smashing pumpkins this summer

David Byrne Saturday.

Jack White May 1

NOLA Jazzfest May 3-7th

welp, that sucks.

The Gary Clark Jr. concerts scheduled to take place Wednesday, June 13; Thursday, June 14; and Friday, June 15 have been rescheduled due to circumstances beyond control.

The newly scheduled dates are Monday, December 3; Tuesday, December 4; and Wednesday, December 5.

That has been a problem with finding concerts for me. Need them to be on a Friday or Saturday.

Same thing happened here with a string of shows he had coming up at the Fillmore. Rescheduled to October. I need to get a ticket.

then you need to live in a major metro area.  if you're in a smaller city then you get the mon, tues, wed stop.

Which is why most of my concerts are in Atlanta. Some I do get in Bham, rarely in Huntsville.

ya, i'm running into the same thing now that i live in Charleston.  I gotta drive to Charlotte or ATL for any semi big show.

For those of you seeing David Byrne in Houston this weekend, you are in for a treat.  There are a few moments where it slows down a bit, but mostly, it's tremendous.

Courtney Barnett (Saengerrunde Hall)

Kendrick Lamar/SZA/Schoolboy Q/TDE Tour (360 Amp)

Beach House (Moody)

The National/Father John Misty/Jenny Lewis/Julien Baker (Fort York, Toronto)

Leon Bridges (Moody)

Courtney Barnett (Stubb's)

Damn! 6 of 6. I'll be at Kendrick Lamar, Beach House, and the second Courtney Barnett show (this year's birthday show! Always seem to have a great one; LCD last year)
I have no idea when those first Courtney tickets went on sale but I was bummed to see I missed out on them.

Fortress Fest in Fort Worth this weekend, including Courtney Barnett, FJM, Hurray For the Riff Raff, The Voidz, Waxahatchee.

Pretty fuckin’ stoked to see CB. She’s my favorite artist going.

Welp I gotta go see Fleetwood Mac next year now

Going to see the original lineup of Fishbone at Buck's Backyard in Buda tonight. Don't think they'll be as much fun as when I saw them in 87.

Really pumped for Kendrick and TDE in May.  Never been to Austin360.

Catching one of the few Flotsam & Jetsam headlining shows in a few weeks. Gonna get my old-school Thrash on...

Just saw Courtney Barnett rock it. Father John Misty up next.

Hurray for the Riff Raff and The Voidz killed it yesterday.

Getting ready to head down to SA to check out Jason Isbell with Richard Thompson opening. Ought to be a great pairing.

Shaky Knees this weekend. Also just bought tix for Death Cab in October.

The new singer is great and they kill it. Saw them last weekend.

really tempted to see New Order in concert but the videos from this tour looks so low energy.  bernard wearing his paunch under a tshirt and barely looks like he wants to be on stage.

Nice. Saw them in Atlanta last fall, and I was really impressed.  They're playing here again in a couple of weeks, but opening for Hammerfall. I'll pass on that one.

And unfortunately I’m going to miss most of it due to family stuff.

Seems like many bands do this kind of thing often. Start out at a smaller venue and then work up to the bigger ones. Probably so they can work out any kinks in their show.

I don't know a single person that would go with me to see Ghost in Houston Tuesday night.

Going to Social D this summer, been a few years and I'm pumped.

Saw a few mention Greta Van Fleet, would like to see them too, but I'm gonna have to make a 3 hour roadtrip to KC.

Good to hear STP is killing it.  Might have to go see them.  I lucked out and saw them 5-6 years ago (hell, it might have been longer).  Scott Weiland was late but he brought his A game that night.

just saw NIN is playing a festival in san antonio in the at&t center parking lot this September. a couple other decent bands playing. probably going to that because NIN, but god damn what a terrible venue.

Dr. Dog Saturday and Wilderado Sunday should make for a good weekend. Joe Pug on Wednesday too.

For anyone who wants to go see Courtney Barnett tonight, they’re still selling tickets for the show at Mohawk. Sucks for those who wanted it to be a tiny show at the Beer Hall it was promoted as, but good if you still wanna go.
