Dropped passes, poor run blocking, a few bad 3rd down throws, and the Texas Defense unable to get off the field...

And he still didn't get the ball enough.

Cain was playing by far the best he's ever looked and they didn't go to him enough either. Kept force feeding Worthy when others are looking more reliable.

Where have Texas players who entered the transfer portal ended up?

Steve Habel

Fifteen players who were on the Texas football team’s roster through the 2022 campaign have announced their intentions to play elsewhere next season.

The list includes a quarterback who started three games, a much-touted receiver who was kept off the field for much of his stint on 40 Acres because of injury, a former starter on the offensive line, and a linebacker that finished sixth on the team in tackles and forced two fumbles.

Also included below is a player who entered the portal prior to the 2022 season.

Players have until Jan. 18 to enter the transfer portal, so there could be some additions to this roster. Here’s a look at the former Texas players and where they will be in action in 2023 and, on some cases, beyond:

OL Jaylen Garth         Univ of Houston

Garth entered the transfer portal before the season began and elected to move to Houston

LS Zach Edwards     ???

Edwards transferred from Oklahoma in 2019, and succeeded Justin Mader as long snapper.

WR Agiye Hall      ???

After a tumultuous time in Austin, Hall is looking for his third school in three years.

OL Logan Parr        ???

Parr, a graduate transfer, played mostly in backup roles and on special teams.

OL Junior Angilau           Oregon

Angilau started 34 games for the Longhorns, but tore his ACL in preseason camp. He moves closer to home in Eugene, Ore.

P Isaac Pearson      ???

Pearson, an Australia native, played in the 2022 season-opener versus ULM.

DB Jamier Johnson          Indiana

Johnson had 17 appearances and one start for the Longhorns at corner.

WR Troy Omeire       ???

Injuries in successive preseasons derailed Omeire’s Texas career before it could even begin. He was able to bounce back in 2022 and play in four games with one reception.

EDGE Prince Dorbah        Arizona St.

Dorbah totaled 11 tackles in his three year career, including seven tackles in five appearances in 2022.

OL Andrej Karic           Tennessee

Karic played in 26 games with five starts, and started several games for the Longhorns as a blocking tight end in 2022.

EDGE DJ Harris Jr.       South Florida

Harris played in three career games for the Longhorns.

DB JD Coffey           ???

Coffey played in six games in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

QB Hudson Card           Purdue

Card played in 22 games for the Longhorns with five starts. He started three games in Quinn Ewers’ absence in 2022.

LB Devin Richardson        Washington St.

A transfer from New Mexico State ahead of the 2021 season, Richardson played in 20 games as a Longhorn

QB Ben Ballard           Florida Atlantic

A walk-on from Austin, Ballard reunites with former Texas head coach Tom Herman at FAU.

LB Ovie Oghoufo      ???

Oghoufo transferred from Notre Dame ahead of the 2021 season. He recorded 96 tackles with 14 for loss and 4.5 sacks in his two year Texas career.

Should a guy who is always injured play for a team with a pitchfork on it's helmet?

Why should we be in the top 25 after that fuck shit showing against Washington? I don't have us in the top 20 for sure and maybe not top 25 right now. That was embarrassing

A seven point loss to the 11/12th ranked team?  C'mon man.

WHY IS THE CLOCK NOT FUCKING STOPPING?????

Traylor voted UTSA 19 and left us out of the top 25. Would love to hear the logic on that one.

Just spitballin' here, but maybe he thinks he had a better squad and/or is trying to raise the profile of the program he leads.

And what Hemanator said.
