Wonder if they could use some help with the crystal ball at Time Square.

Both of these teams are under 50% in FTs.  Good Lord.

Good one going on ESPN2. Rick Barnes trying to pick up a win in the desert.

Not all was lost yesterday despite the outcome(s).  Wife and I got to enjoy some authentic NY style pizza afterwards…

That dude played 15 nights straight?

Fuckin respect, man. Don't really care about his music but that's some old-school, rock and roll shit.

Late 2H but Pitino v Pitino matchup on FS1, Lobos up 70-61, Jamal Mashburn Jr playing for Lobos.

Eastern Illinois pulled off the biggest college basketball upset by point spread in the modern era Wednesday, knocking off Iowa 92-83 on the road as a 31.5-point underdog, according to Caesars Sportsbook.

Kinyon Hodges scored 22 points and Caleb Donaldson added 16 for the Panthers, who became the first underdog of 30 or more points to win outright in the past 30 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. Before Eastern Illinois' upset of the Hawkeyes, underdogs of 30 or more points were 0-558 over the past 30 seasons.

The Panthers were such big underdogs that most sportsbooks did not offer odds on them to win the game straight up.

The start of Wednesday's game was moved up 4½ hours due to the weather forecast, then Iowa broke out to an 18-4 lead and led 45-37 at the half.

I'm surprised that a 30 pt underdog hasn't won a game in over 30 years. With odds always being all over the place early season and the huge number of small schools picking up checks at bigger P5 schools, I would have guessed that it would happen more frequently than it apparently does.

With 5:39 left in the 2nd half, #25 Arizona State is losing 83-38 to unranked 9-4 San Francisco.

SFA was “only” a 27.5 point dog when it beat #1 Duke in 2019. That SFA if not for Covid was a sweet sixteen team, imo.

Was channel surfing the other day when that episode was on, got a kick out of it.

There's a pretty unusual looking dude on the Seattle U team. Currently losing to Utah State, 51-31, 13:00 left, ESPN.

It's presumably your only opportunity to gaze upon his oddness. I especially appreciate the little Jedi braid.

Edit: our hero fucking leveled an opponent lowering his shoulder right into the dude's face while down like 25 and didn't get called for a foul.

Illinois down to Missouri, 53-30.

That loss looking….

There is something seriously wrong with our chemistry these past few games/weeks.

The way we played tonight, we're not ever a tournament team.

Sorry!

Illinois' current projected record in kenpom is 19-12 (10-10). they really looked like an elite 8 caliber team against us. not so much anymore.

Give me a 100 guesses at that dudes first name, and I doubt I land on Kobe. I can only hope he calls it out with every shot

Meh. Their fault not ours. Can't do anything about a team on your schedule getting shittier.

It's nice to see Texas-Ex Kamaka Hepa enjoying a key role on Hawaii's team. He has helped lead them to the finals of the Diamond Head classic.

It’s early, but this aggy/Nawfwestern state game has potential.

Aggy down 5 at the under 16. NSU has lead the entire way so far…

I’m shocked Buzz may survive 2022 lol

Nova is considering beating #2 UCONN in Hartford.

Kentucky looks like ass, down 18 to Missouri in the 2nd

An unranked 11-1 Missouri team at that. They beat our only loss Illinois handily, with their only blemish being a 28 point loss to KU. December rankings are ultimately pretty meaningless but Missouri looks top 25 to this guy.

Agree.  This is an ass kicking.  I’ve seen them play twice now and they look pretty good.

Yup, they can finally stop bitching about it on their socials. They’ll be ranked.

Down goes #1, Rutgers 65-64 over Purdue in West Lafayette

Some late dramatics with a really stupid Rutgers turnover with 0.4 on the inbounds

Not a bad night at Pitt. Beat ranked UVa, which followed Friday’s victory over ranked UNC. It’s crazy but, we are sitting at 4-0 in ACC play win victories at N.C. State, at Syracuse and home wins over UNC & UVa.
