October 13, 20223 yr Just turned on the TV and ESPN was showing its ass for NBA coverage. They showed highlights of the Dynamic Duo, A.D. & LeBron. I know it was just a preseason game but, all of the highlights were A.D. & LeBron, all the way to the final buzzer. Oh, by the way, the Lakers lost. They’re a shit show. Wolves didn’t play KAT and Rudy. I went to bed before halftime but from what I saw Westbrook is a loser which we already knew. I’d be surprised if he’s not bought out by thanksgiving. Probably by Halloween. Lakers are better off cutting ties and letting some scrub take orders from lebron or Pat Bev than letting Westbrook be a detriment.

He didn't "appear" not to take part. He fucking didn't take part. sportscenter Verified It appeared Russ did not partake in the entirety of the Lakers’ pregame huddle last night. October 15, 20223 yr Ingram looks like he added weight and is much more aggressive. I don’t think I would trade him straight up for AD now.
October 15, 20223 yr This Nets team is going to be really good if they stay healthy. I know that's a big if.
October 15, 20223 yr 35m a year for Poole seems like a big overpay to me, but if you're not not light years ahead, you're light years behind.
October 15, 20223 yr This Nets team is going to be really good if they stay healthy. I know that's a big if. Ben Simmons had 5 fouls at the 8 min mark of the second quarter lolFouled out a few minutes into the second half.Durant and Kyrie were on fire last night. I think they each had 17 at half time
October 15, 20223 yr Care to comment Dray? They just extended Wiggins. Their payroll+ luxury tax is 483 million next year
October 15, 20223 yr 6 hours ago, Message Board User said: Care to comment Dray? Man, that's nuts. I don't understand the rush. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but he would have been a restricted free agent after this season, right? If he has a great season, they could match anything offered by another team to his max of...$150M. So they potentially saved $10M over 4 years by doing it now. Cool?
October 16, 20223 yr When I first read it, I saw 4 years 104. I thought that was about right. I wish my paycheck had this dyslexia.
October 16, 20223 yr Why is this surprising to anyone? Poole got assaulted by Green a week ago. The Warriors paid him off so he wouldn't escalate it.
October 16, 20223 yr 12 hours ago, Dutchrudder said: Is this uh, sustainable for the Warriors? $483 million is a third of Lacob’s net worth and well over half of Guber’s estate.

Their revenue is reported to be $258 million. I’m sure they’ll generate more this season. That shit about all the other team not wanting to go into the luxury tax so they can suckle at the Warriors money teat is fucking hilarious.
October 17, 20223 yr I imagine Chuck's agent will be providing the LIV Tour with an extravagant gift basket.

October 18, 20223 yr Any other No Dunks (formerly The Starters, Basketball Jones) fans out there? I've only been listening for a few years but it's my favorite general NBA podcast. One of the guys recently left the show, which is kind of a bummer, but overall the show is great and they put out an episode per day, available ad-free on The Athletic. Anyway, happy opening night to all who celebrate. Looks like another fun as hell NBA season.

October 18, 20223 yr Didn't the NBA season used to start closer to Halloween?Guess there’s less back to backs or 3 days in 4 nights this way. The season is probably 20 games too long as is
October 19, 20223 yr Harden looks as good as he has since COVID and is having a big game. Embiid is fine. The other guys look ok for Philly… and Boston is going into the 4th Quarter up double digits. I wasn’t sure they should have the shortest odds for the title but 36 minutes into the season I get it.

October 19, 20223 yr I don't pay much attention to nba until Mlb is over, but who in the flying fuck thought it was a good idea to put Pat Bev and Westbrook on the same team lmaoDo they have a reality show yet?

October 19, 20223 yr game is listed as a 9pm start, doesn't tip until 9:42. so stupid. Exactly.. And what would’ve happened had the first game gone to double overtime? Would they just have tipped at 10:29 just so the league makes sure we see how happy Steph, klay etc are?
October 19, 20223 yr http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=34827355 Surprised to see Russ with that much bounce still.
October 19, 20223 yr I thought Wiseman looked pretty good last night considering it was his first NBA game in over a year. It's insane how much young talent the Warriors have accumulated while still winning 4 out of the last 8 championships.
October 19, 20223 yr http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=34827355 Surprised to see Russ with that much bounce still.Especially with that bad hammy
October 19, 20223 yr I wonder what percentage of Lakers' fans would sign up for the Lebron/AD experience knowing what they know now. One bubble championship (their first title in 10 years) for... Two missed playoffs, one first round exit, currently stuck with arguably the worst player 3-14 rosters in the league, cap space hell, AD will never be "that guy", and Space Jam 2.
