I thought it was reported that we were “going separate ways” or something like that with Xavier Griffin.. Was that somebody else?

I never heard that. He's on his official visit and we're swinging for the fences right now. Must be thinking of someone else.

Damn our recruit visit game is on point.  Even the players who don't end up signing here are probably going to be talking about how awesome the visit was.

I'm always amaze at pomp and pagentry that we create for these events. Must be an awesome experience for recruits.

The big Texas flag setup this year is really cool, they did a great job with that one.

Naaaaaggy

Heze is an impressive specimen.

I'd love it if he can block and catch as well as he bigs. Line him up at HBack and let him motion to wide side and either slip the block and be unguardable for the pop or lead Arch to the promised land.

The Four Seasons in Bryan has sheep roaming the lobby

The one in Bryan is infinitely more exclusive.

Not ideal, but maybe he will gain some speed and athleticism when his body is reshaped.

I wanna be on board with this recruitment, but unless they add another number after that 7, I just don’t see this kid ever playing a snap.  That Agbo role possibly, but ain’t no way otherwise.

Prove me wrong Heze, I want all the kids to win big.

He's got legit commitable offers, coaches clearly want a shot at figuring his best role.

He’s an athlete.  That’s for sure.  I just can’t find a TE comp in my mental Rolodex.  I pulled up a pic of Keith Jackson, and he looked like Jack Lalane compared to Heze.  I love the idea of getting him on campus, but TE seems like a super stretch

Get him into the program and then sort it out. If you've seen his highlights, he's about the biggest Swiss army knife in the land. Great feet and deceptively quick. With the right S&C regimen and positional focus he could turn into something special.

I would be out of my depth arguing with anyone on this staff about a take.  I created a Tight End that looked like him one season on NCAA 2005 or so.  Worked like a charm.

Heze Kent is enormous.. Dude could pass for a DT prospect at TE.

Dylan Soehner was a pretty good TE at Iowa State about five years ago at 270+ lbs.

11th grade Heze Kent has Pro Bowl Eric Green by about 30 pounds of bad weight.  I hope it works though.  Shaping up to be a really good recruiting weekend
