October 6, 20223 yr Whoever wrote this was tired of hearing whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie so he made his own.

December 4, 20223 yr This movie was great. Really sets the tone for the rest of the Christmas season.

December 4, 20223 yr Just got out of this movie. It is amazing. Loved Santa’s backstory on why he can kick ass. Go see this. It’s basically Die Hard but hilarious and hilariously violent. Makes Die Hard look like The Wiggles.

I laughed all the way through it and the fight scenes were really cool. This is now on the shortlist of must-see Christmas movies every year. David Harbour did an awesome job as Santa. And I agree about the backstory. That was a fantastic add-on to Santa’s past and why he is a killing machine. Edited December 4, 20223 yr by UpperWestside
December 5, 20223 yr Fantastic! I love David Harbour in just about anything. I laughed at so many of the tropes being skewered. Good music too.
December 6, 20223 yr Highly recommend. Instant Christmas rewatch classic. Crowd was dying throughout the movie. People are LOVING this kind of movie right now. Flat out fun ass time. Watching again this week
December 6, 20223 yr It is Die Hard meets Home Alone. Really fun movie and I also loved Santa's backstory.
December 6, 20223 yr The only thing I would've changed... Spoiler Mrs. Claus should've delivered Skull Crusher earlier so that he could've used it instead of the sledgehammer. That 10 second scene felt a bit out of place where it was included. No, Mrs. Claus, he can't use it because you're a day late delivering it.

December 17, 20223 yr Saw it with the wife for our anniversary date and it was fun as hell! Gruesome, wholesome, cheesy, will definitely watch again next year.
December 23, 20223 yr This was fantastic. As good as it could be IMO. There was nothing about it I did not like. Well, I take that back I don't like John Leguizamo and he's featured about as often as Santa. Wife normally does not finish movies like this with over the top violence but she liked this one.

December 24, 20223 yr Whoever compared this to Die Hard needs to punch themself in the face. 55 minutes in and I haven’t laughed one goddamned time. I paid $25 for this piece of shit. Fat Man is much better.

December 26, 20222 yr That the cast chose to be in it, gives it a chance with me. Good leads. They didn't have to do it. That I sorta think Santa as an icon should not be fucked with in commercials, movies, or TV lowers its chances with me. That Santa has to look back for the explosion is cathartic after the worn out shot of someone walking away from something spectacular and not looking book suggests some fun. This board is torn. So am I. Maybe I'll give it a shot when it's free. Edited December 26, 20222 yr by RomaVicta
January 29, 20232 yr Streaming free on Peacock now so my daughter and watched it tonight. I hate Christmas, so I can get behind a movie with a drunk Santa that vomits and pisses off of his sleigh, and them fucks people’s shit up with skullcrusher. We really enjoyed it. It’s my new favorite Christmas movie. I’m going to watch this and Fatman every year.
January 29, 20232 yr This was great, and will be in the annual rotation. Should be up for picture of the year
January 30, 20232 yr Great cast. I too hate Leguezamochoad, so his ending was very enjoyable. Great Christmas flick I'll watch with my other childless friends every Xmas till I die. Edited January 30, 20232 yr by MissingInAction
January 31, 20232 yr I truly hope they have a follow up about his past, much fodder for gore, cheese, and back to Christmas cheer when we learn how and why he became Santa.
November 22, 20232 yr About that time again for the 2nd annual viewing of this instant Christmas classic! Santa really brings the holiday cheer with this one and what better way to get in the spirit of the season than watching this beauty of a movie.
November 22, 20232 yr I’ll put the odds of Viking Santa at -1000 of a first round knockout using Skullcrusher vs this knife-wielding maniac.

November 22, 20232 yr Is this movie something you can watch with older in laws? They don’t mind violence or light vulgarity. But too much ???

Unless your in-laws are Puritanicals they should be okay. Seeing Beverly D’angelo in this was awesome since she is now in my first and second favorite Christmas movies.
December 5Dec 5 It’s about time to crank this one up. 2nd favorite Christmas movie. Going to try to sit down and watch it this weekend once I settle into my new apartment.
December 5Dec 5 Love this movie. "Is this really Santa?" "I already know you're stupid, don't be stupid outloud".
