October 6, 20223 yr love this one as a braves fan. i went with harris but both are very deserving. almost hope it's a tie.
October 8, 20223 yr it's Strider. he was unbelievable. Harris was great, but Steider was un fucking believable.
October 8, 20223 yr after strider became a starter in june he had one hiccup and then was as good as/better than any other pitcher in baseball for the rest of the season. look at this FIP for his final 15 starts: 1.53. ONE POINT FIVE THREE!!! 84 IP, 130 k's, opp BA .179, 78 base runners, 4 HR allowed. that's un fucking believable. the answer is Strider.
October 8, 20223 yr also harris wasn't very good down the stretch. on september 13th he was batting .313 with a .908 OPS. EOD october 4th those numbers had dropped to .297 and .853. while ATL was fighting for the division over the last 20 games of the season harris slashed .237/.284/.626 with 1 HR, 8 rbi, and 19 k's. strider otoh did this in september: 4 starts, 25 IP, 14 H, 5 ER, 44 K's, 7 BB, 1.80 ERA, 0.95 FIP, .154 opp BA, .434 OPS. the answer is so clearly Strider that i'm not even going to feel bad about serially posting ad nauseam or shaming the people who voted for harris with such compelling arguments as "Harris" and "Harris". you all should be ashamed and should redact your votes for the wrong guy.
November 15, 20223 yr biiiiiig swing and a miss by the voters. but congrats to the kid, he had a helluva rookie season.
November 16, 20223 yr I wonder if that is the same dumbass that gave Boone a 2nd place vote for AL manager of the year

November 16, 20232 yr lol apparently i was still upset about this on may 24th as well. i’m never letting it go! strider for ROY!!!
