With five catches for 110 yards already, @Jatavionsanders has two 100-yard receiving games in the last 3 outings — both on the road (5-114 at Alabama)🤘🏻He's the first tight end in Longhorn history to have multiple career 100-yard receiving games.

I'll be damned. I realize that Texas is usually a black hole when it comes to TE talent, but i would have figured Jermichael or David Thomas would have managed 2 games over 100. Sanders is gonna make some bank in the NFL.

Get you a TE that can do it all 👀@Jatavionsanders

JT is going to be needed for the bloU game. Here's hoping he can walk this one off and be one hunnert next Saturday.

With the opportunities that Sanders has in this offense, 5 star TE’s should be knocking down the door to come to Texas.

Ja'Tavion Sanders now now has 100 yards receiving today, his third 100-yard receiving game of the season. No other Texas tight end has ever had more than one 100-yard receiving game in a season🤘🏻

Hugely undervalued by our fans imo. He is the truth

If you can’t be on the Texans or Cowboys then the next best thing is showing up on Chopped.

Dude is going to be a weapon at the next level if he lands in the right situation.  I would love to see the Texans get him in 2nd round.

"I definitely wanted to be a part of that (Sark's) offense." #Longhorns TE Ja'Tavion Sanders talks why he originally chose #Texas, the impacts of NIL and why he decided to be a tight end instead of a defensive end. #HookEm

#93

That statement better not come back to haunt us.

#Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders strong message on #Big12 exit for #SEC: “It was fun playing in the Big 12. The Big 12 is one of those conferences where anybody can beat anybody. And I’m glad Texas & #OU is going to the #SEC. Now we can assert true dominance.”😳#HookEm #BoomerSooner

5🌟 player talent that didn't take the weight room seriously enough -- not sure why he wasn't developed better.  Really disappointing that JT did not end up drafted in the first 3 Rds.

If he knew he wasn’t going to be a great tester why not come back to school and get stronger? Sure he would have gotten a fat NIL check.

Compare rookie check to NIL? Compare 4-year for this draft to 4-year for next ... IF he gets bigger, better blocking, better testing, and catches that do-or-die TD or sells the interference call.

All things considered, I'd say it's a toss-up and the bird in the hand is as good a reason to go to the draft. Good decision or bad decsion? Remains to be seen.

#98

This is really weird. He seemed to make significant progress with blocking this year. He had to know pre-combine what his bench numbers would be. Should have claimed upper extremity issue and skipped

#99

A good bench/combine performance is highly predictive of NFL success- see HOFers Adam Archuleta, Stephen Paea, Mike Mamula, et al.

JT is a Longhorn, so I will always root for his success, but let's be honest, he hasn't done himself any favors since the end of the season.

I get that combine studs don't always succeed in the league, but you'd have hoped he could have performed somewhere in the meaty part of TE performance curve.

His combine performance was abysmal.  When I was at UT my "warm-up" weight was 225, and I weighed about 150 lbs.  How the hell can a guy who outweighs that by almost 100 lbs not get more than 8 reps.  It's stunning really.

If he wants to stay in the league he better get his shit together and start gaining strength.
