He should be used to having his touchdowns called back from his state championship game experience. McVay fucked up by not realizing Whittington gets angry about having his TD called back and scores the next play anyway.

Nacua going to IR

May mean WR snaps for J Whitt?

Maybe a little. But he isn’t Quan with all due respect.

He was better.

Nice interview with Jordan. He’ll likely get a great opportunity to play a lot with injuries to both Kupp and Nacua.

Jordan is about to pop off for a couple of games. Dude is a great blocker which gets him on the field. He will clean up from the slot in the McVay system.

I'm starting him in flex this weekend.  Texas!!!

Jordan Whittington represents everything great about UT. He's treasure. Top 10 favorite players of all-time. Did the dirty work, never complained.

Yes sir. Rojo and Whittington set the standard for the culture. They are irreplaceable. True leaders.

good article. only bone i have to pick is when he said Jordan was recruited as a 5* RB out of high school. people always get that wrong. he was offered here first as a DB like sophomore year i think, declined, offered again junior year as a WR. accepted. came here and went straight to the WR room. then all those RB injuries happened and he volunteered to switch to RB with RoJo also switching from QB to RB. played freshman year as a RB. got hurt. went back to WR because RoJo wanted to stay as RB and Herman recruited Bijan so they didn't have that RB roster depletion anymore and he planned on being a WR anyway.

Anybody know the degree of the injury he incurred on the last catch late in the game? Hoping it’s nothing.

McVay said Whittington “got his shoulder” but like the other banged-up players coming out of Sunday, this injury won’t cause him to miss any time.

Jordan seems like that guy who flew under the radar and gets drafted for depth but once he gets a chance to play he becomes indispensable.

Had the Chiefs grabbed him to go with Worthy, the Rice injury wouldn't be worrying them so much. Mahomes would love him.

Was just about to post this. What an awesome dude and one of my favorite Longhorns.

Bleeds orange. Love it.

The NFL will jump on banning that before players start repping sponsorships or political messages. Clever and awesome for Jordan though.

Jordan Whittington is a perfect example of getting out what you put in as a Longhorn. It wasn't the stuff he did on the football team that makes him a legend, it's how much he invested outside of that in the university, its programs, his education and promoting its brand.

He wasn't expecting to make the NFL, let alone be a starter and the featured guy on their socials. He was expecting to go pro in something else and it's fantastic that he's making the most of his well earned opportunity

my favorite Longhorn

Good day for Whitt.  86 yards receiving on 3 catching including a 50 yarder and 80 yards of return yardage on 2 kick off returns.  Also 12 yards rushing.

Wonder if Rams fans were like some of us… fuck fuck fuck, not that play call, then it’s jubilation/relief on it being an explosive play?

What an amazing victory by J Whitt’s Rams tonight. For all that they had to go through the last week+, it’s amazing that they were able to play tonight the way the Rams did.

The Vikings all year were one of the NFL’s best teams, with their prior game playing for Home Field advantage to losing like that on the road, which wasn’t even “home” for the host.

On to Philly for the Rams. Impact on their preparation going forward still questionable, but best of luck to them. What a way to end a rookie season for J Whitt!

Hook’em!!!
