Why do astro fans believe this stuff? They just played 162 games. You’re not going to be rusty after 5 days off, when you were throwing or working out on each of those days anyway.

why do astros fans come to the logical conclusion that their closer is when he has an aberrant performance after 8 days off?

And most importantly, he still didn't give up a run.

Pressley shouldn't be a closer - belongs in the 7th inning. He got lucky he faced the bottom of the lineup yesterday.

Rizzo said fuck your runs

Judge's throw was just a bit outside

Pretty sure Nestor would have gotten Straw out

Helo needs attention.

Naylor was running to first like a fat kid trying to catch a cake. Good effort, too slow.

I think special needs is the nomenclature.

Wahoo! Out of the inning!  Need to score here, 9-1-2 batters up next and Judge in the bottom of the 9th could be problematic.

That pitcher is so fucking nervous. Shoulda been pulled a few batters ago

The strikeout Karinchak got before the walk was pretty big though..

Dude, go to the thread with your favorite team in the title.

Costas gets on my last nerve worser than Chris Berman ever has... by a long shot.

Could he be more apologetic for the Yankees?  Then he suggests this pitcher for the Yankees, who seems like a fine enough chap; has never faced anything worse in life  than pitching a tough outing in  a PO game in Yankee stadium.  Really Bob?

Way to explain the obvious Bob.

That one looked kinda bloopy too, but a lot harder of a bloop. Maybe a blorp.

a bline drive to CF....

blorp (plural blorps)

  1. A sound suggesting a splash of or into a volume of semiliquid material.
