June 28, 20232 yr Outsider looking in... this doesn't seem like an improvement. I guess you play a false 9 with Nkuku?

I think this is the first step, clear out the dead weight and bloated salaries. Jackson won't be a main no. 9, we will add some depth here and Broja coming off an injury should simply be considered depth at this point. Victor keeps popping up but I don't think that happens. I think Vlahovic is more likely, who knows maybe we end up with a disgruntled Lukaku until we sign Toney in January. Outside of that spot, I'm not mad at all. We need to add depth at outside but with Nkunku, Colwill, Gusto coming in and add a couple more signings we will have a young talented squad. I don't expect us to light the league up next year, but I hope we have more consistency in the line up and in the managerial spot. Lot's of positive news that Caicedo is close. I fully expect Gallagher, Auba, Lukaku, CHO and Pulisic (ztejas) to be sold. I almost expect us to lose Mount on a free after next season at this rate. Chalobah and Maatsen might be out as well. It's going to be a very different team out there.

August 4, 20232 yr Yep. Saints not getting all of that £40m unfortunately. We could really use it. I doubt Chelsea will even notice it added to their coffers.
