October 16, 20223 yr Author Fangraphs has the Padres as the 51/49 favorites. I think it should be fun seeing two new teams in this round and I hope it goes 6 or 7.
October 16, 20223 yr I like this series in that I don't hate either team. Have liked the Padres through the years, and son lives about 5 blocks from Petco Park. We were just at a Dodgers/ Padres game there about a month ago. I like how the Padres 'fit' the San Diego culture. Go Padres! San Diego in 6.
October 16, 20223 yr I've got nothing against either team, the Padres haven't been a contender in decades, and the Phillies only had a few years in the 2000s where they were. Both teams have notable stars, and have been scoring well so far in the playoffs. It should be a shootout for a few games, which is always entertaining.
October 18, 20223 yr Author Wheeler vs Darvish in Game 1. Both teams have had 2 days off, so pitching should be in good shape.
October 18, 20223 yr Author Harper vs Soto. At least National fans can sleep easy knowing they locked Strasburg up.

October 19, 20223 yr Author Whoa, I didn't notice Walton. I wonder whose jersey he's wearing. Both pitchers are off to good starts.
October 19, 20223 yr Just tuned in....first thing I notice....fucking Walton. I bet he is high as fuck
October 19, 20223 yr Walton in the house? My. I can't believe Darvish is in his 17th pro season. Damn.

October 19, 20223 yr Everywhere from Fleetwood Mac is a great song. Fuck this car commercial for beating me over the head with it. This is why we can’t have nice things.

October 19, 20223 yr Author They really pulled Wheeler after 83 pitches, allowing 1 hit and 1 walk? I really hope they lose now.
October 19, 20223 yr Author Not sure you want to walk Profar ahead of Soto and Machado. Let's see how it plays out.
October 19, 20223 yr Just now, Scraps said: If machado walks this off the gaslamp district will be in flames tonight the shawty blonde home plate aint bad
October 19, 20223 yr Author Everyone standing. Someone paid a grand to not be able to see the biggest ab of the night because they're behind goofyass Walton. And now all up to Josh Bell. Wonder what FJLA is thinking right now. Edited October 19, 20223 yr by WBT
October 19, 20223 yr He starts Drury over Bell against lefties, probably should use him here too. Drive home safely.
