Then, last night, with two outs, and two strikes....they come within a strike or catching a pop fly from winning the national championship. They were soooooy close. That's what really stings. Then, the best team gets a super clutch hit to tie the game and another homer to win it...all the air went out of Arky, and you could just tell they came in flat tonight, and OSU had that extra something, and they got lights-out performances from their freshman pitcher and clutch hits. 20 straight outs by their pitcher and Arky never recovered. So, although I do not like Arky, I can't imagine how they will feel for the rest of their lives, knowing they were on the edge of their dugout, ready to go dog pile, only to let it get away. They did have a great team this year, actually the 2nd best. On the other hand, fuck 'em.
June 29, 20187 yr The 'you had it won but then you fucked up gave it away' has to be the worst kind of agony of defeat. So wonderful that it happened to be arkansas.

June 29, 20187 yr One of you intelligent computer fucks needs to edit that foul pop from last night and replace the ball with a tiny sec logo. Kai thx bai.

June 29, 20187 yr Their 1964 football title isn’t recognized by the ncaa. That’s odd since NCAA.com lists Arkansas as one of the national champions on their site in the section titled “College Football National Champions from 1869 to 2017”

June 29, 20187 yr Quote How close was Arky to winning the national championship? Edited June 29, 20187 yr by Cairn Horn88
June 29, 20187 yr where are the upside down horns now, arky? fuck you! This. Once I saw that, even as a neutral Poke, I was praying for a miracle and holy crap did I get one...even if it was the ‘wrong’ osu.
June 29, 20187 yr I attended all three games. Was over after the 9th yesterday. Bad mojo all around town today, Everyone knew it even though they tried to trick themselves. Reminded me of Nelson Cruz and Rangers in 2011. Anyway great city and event. My first to go to. Just a great experience. Plan to come back and bring my boys. Last night was incredibly painful, only topped by tonight’s confirmation of what we already knew. Great season but major missed opportunity. Congrats to the Beavers on an earned championship. Wish we had a bunch coming back to get redemption like they did, but we lose a good many. So drink my internet tears and enjoy my loss......
June 29, 20187 yr I wish Harry Caray was alive to call game 2 or even Ron Santo for the Brant Brown drop.

June 29, 20187 yr There is no joy in aggyville, the mighty SEC has struck out! Congratulations to Org State.
June 29, 20187 yr I just love the fact that when I type "arkansas" into my browser the auto-populate renders "arkansas missed pop up".
June 29, 20187 yr That was the most stressful 4/1 odds I’ve ever won. Thanks for the memories Oregon State...

June 29, 20187 yr Unreal...my Arky buddy said he was not even going to watch game three. The gut punch was to hard to withstand.

June 29, 20187 yr Fuck Arkansas. I laughed my ass off when they let that pop up drop and immediately said they’re going to lose.
June 29, 20187 yr I had the Beavers winning it all after I saw them utterly destroy LSU twice in the regionals. They crushed it in every aspect of the game. I had a feeling they would be unstoppable and go all the way.
June 29, 20187 yr Hogs & Rangers sitting in a tree.... Man I fucking forgot how much keystone cops the Cardinals did on pop-ups in that game holy shit!
June 29, 20187 yr Any Arkansas loss feels as good to me as a Texas loss does to them. And that's a lot. Younger Texas fans likely can't grasp the depth of hatred we one shared with the pigs. I wouldn't say it matched my lifelong feelings for OU, because that's perhaps impossible. But these goobers were next on my list. I didn't even hate aggy as much as I hated the swine. While our conference battles might now be far in the past, I still enjoy any crushing defeat they suffer.
June 29, 20187 yr pathetic aggy is pathetic Quote from texags Quote Stove Top 11:19p, 6/28/18 V This was so hard to watch, considering we were so close to bringing another championship home for conference pride. SEC SEC SEC! Gig'em Hogs!
June 29, 20187 yr Congrats to OSU. I was out of town, wasn't able to see the game (got home at 10 p.m.). That kid threw his ass off apparently. As long as no one signs the pedo, I'm good widdit (the OSU win).

June 29, 20187 yr Well that was amazing. Truly what makes baseball a great sport. That was worthy of the most cursed of the old Boston Red Sox teams. I will remember this one and may it always live in CWS lore. Edited June 29, 20187 yr by Valmy77

Go to national championship tab. They claim 44 overall titles, 42 by the men and 2 by the women. no idea why a psycho piggy fan wouldn’t update it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkansas_Razorbacks

June 29, 20187 yr Only aggy, in their delusions of grandeur, would think that a pig win would’ve made them better off!Nobody wants their conference “rival” to achieve something that your team couldn’t, on any given year or sport. It’s supposed to made you MAD that they accomplished the main goal - to win it all!How that thought process was ever created in collie station is dumbfounding.Hook’em and sorry pig!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
