Furk.  He damn near overthrew this one.

That's the glass half empty view. The glass half full view says, "Hey, Cain caught one!"

I can't think of any throwing hand injury where wearing a glove would help it. Maybe he had a blister?

But his ball still had zip on several of his throws so I don't see why his deep balls had to be lofted so much.

He just looked like shit for the 2nd game in a row. So damn disappointing

Well didn't the QB school guys give him a very poor grade versus OU in comparison to this board due to him failing to see the field and missing out on wide open throws.

Seven games?  We sure?

Fair point

Clemson was down and Dabo realized a "pinch hitter" was needed and they won the game. He made it very clear after this wasn't a change, but sometimes you just need a different look. That's the difference between a coach who wins championships and one who wins 7 games

He replaced DJ whatever his name with the number 1 QB recruit in the country. Real tough coaching call there Bob. Meanwhile we have a guy that can't throw a simple swing pass in stride.

You picking nits?

Cade was #1 QB in his class, Card was #4 (247 composite).

Its not a computer simulation.  In the moment, if something dont work, you take chances with the next best option.

We know what we have in Card. They know what they have in DJ. DJ has struggled his entire career despite being the starter. Card has struggled his entire career despite getting the starting job twice. Card has never played a clean game. Why would you put him in if what you are getting with him is no better than what you are getting with off QE?

Ewers and Sark were probably discussing whether the new Aston-Martin is as good as the new Ferrari as to which one to buy.

Football is better when played by players driving grandpa’s old 93 F150 or mom’s hand me down Accord. Too much poon, money, and fawning without earning any of it is bad. For players or coaches.

Did Card lead something like 7 straight stalled  possessions that achieved only 1 first down (coming from a run?)

You put him in because there was literally nothing worse from that offense that could have happened except throwing a pick 6

Lol. How far back do we have to go to see Card play like that? 2 games maybe? How many games like that has he had in his career?

in the post pressers ewers said his hand was not injured and sark said he never thought about taking him out

Should be easy to find then. So which game was it?

Do some of you even watch the fucking games? Card is 2-1 as a starter this season with 6 TDs to one turnover, 69% completion and 8.3 y/a. The game he lost- in Lubbock - the defense couldn't get off the field and our star RB fumbled the ball in OT. Card was more than capable of winning that game yesterday and on the season has played a couple levels above whatever the fuck Ewers was doing out there.

maybe he was trying out a glove because of the 25 mph winds but decided against it.

I don’t know what injury a glove can help with except to cover a burn. Maybe he burned himself on the crack pipe he used before warm up?

Yea let’s do that again

You don’t like converting on 50% of your tries? Maybe even 33%?

Maybe Quinn has hyperhidrosis and needed the glove for the grip. It’s a real medical condition called sweaty hands, I put mine to good use for the natural lubrication when i jack it though.
