I think the ads were suggesting we Watch Japanese anime porn while eating Schlotzsky’s and book a trip to some beach resort while getting baked from purchasing items we buy from our sponsor.

Still having issues with ads popping up on my phone only. I deleted all cookies, browsing history and it did not work. I don't get the ads on the main page when I initially come to the site on my phone. Only when I go into the different subsections like 6th street journal, I pee in her butt.etc.

Downloaded Firefox a while back to see if this site would become more functional than it was on Chrome. Was for a while but now on either browser it's a coin flip whether I can get a page to load. Clearing history. Using Avast to stop background tasks.

Ads are everywhere the last few days, on Edge and Galaxy phone browser.

The ads are all over chrome on my desktop too.  I just realized this as I had to turn off Ublock for a different reason, and on two systems the ads just flooded my browser while logged in.  I thought it was just on my phone, but that was just because i didn't have an adblocker on chrome for android.

Am I just delinquent on my tree fiddies?

it would seem so.

I don't mind ads, I get it, but the ones on this site are horrendously intrusive on mobile clients (Chrome/Edge) and seem to cause semi frequent crashes. It's worse than browsing one of those Wikia fandom sites sometimes.

No shit, if you’re an advertiser you probably want to spend your money on a site that will actually load ads instead of one that just jams up and hangs every time.

I also have no issue with ads, a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.  But at least make it where they load in a respectable amount of time so I can scroll through and ignore them efficiently.

Getting ads in Daily Texan. Not sure if this is because of some embedding on the page or what.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the full page Google "vignette" ads in CR are causing navigation problems.  For example, let's say a thread is 4 pages deep and I've read 2 full pages so far.  If I click on the thread name, it should navigate me to the top of page 3 as the first unread post for me.  But sometimes a full page Google vignette pops up on the redirect.  After I close the ad, it sends me to the top of page 4 as if I already read page 3.  I hope that makes sense, but happy to clarify if not.

@immamac I am getting hit big time by ads. They are fairly invasive. Is that a new thing or is it something you are looking into?

I made some changes to ads today - mainly I removed a shitty video partner and replaced them with one that seems much much better. It shouldn't change anything for anyone, but it should make it better.

let me know if you are experiencing issues because of the change.

Also expect content from Bobby Burton to play through there, right now its general CFB, but I'll syndicate longorns specific content there.
