Just burn the tape. Now we have to win in Norman

I no longer have any sympathy for Kyndall Hunter. You stole a scholarship we needed for a shooter or just another guard.

Injuries happen. Vic knows this. Letting her steal a scholarship from Texas was mismanagement. He’s too loyal sometimes.

Jak making the most of her minutes

ISU was abysmal from three and they are 5-8 today. Definitely taking their frustration out on us

Yeah we were never going to win a game where they shoot 67% from BTA.

Gonna be a box score where Texas goes 0-fer from 3 and ISU hits 70%

I fucking hate playing in Hilton

6 for 9

They were 5 for 30 in their last game.

Well shit.

These last few games are a microcosm of Iowa State. They're good when they hit 3s and they aren't good when they don't.

Unfortunately, we're playing them when they're hitting 3s.

When Harmon is that bad on the offensive end, I'm not sure we have a shot unless ISU totally goes to sleep. Which has shown no signs of happening. Somebody try making a jumper.

Live by it, die by it. It’s going in tonight, but we could do a better job not leaving shooters open

ISU is a good team and losing to them in Ames is frustrating, but Vic was about due for a loss against them. This loss doesn't hurt us much if we just could have taken care of business in Lubbock

Yep, GTFO.

ISU is not going to sleep tonight…They will not let up…we have to play at 150%.

No shortage of opportunities to get back in it.  Keep grinding.

It’s that kind of night.

Kept fighting

might be time to have holle and Gonzalez take the first clean 3 they get and see if a few in a row drop

Edited by Pato del Muerto

We're not beating anybody to the basket. They've been doing it all night long. Combine that with the difference from long range and it's a wonder we're within 20.

That was 2 feet over the backboard at a weird angle and somehow went in.

The offense has been horrendous tonight but the defense hasn't been bad at all. Iowa State is simply hitting shots they won't consistently make on most nights.

Yes sir.

And again, yes sir.

Team won’t give up. Hasn’t been in their DNA most of the year

Great clutch shots. Maybe those will open up a passing lane or two.

It's almost like Holle and Gonzales shouldn't be afraid to shoot wide open 3s.

Yes that’s the takeaway of this game. If you’re open, shoot it. Stop looking for a pass into the post

We don’t go to Norman until the 25th. Please God let Sonya be back

What a pleasure this broadcast quality has been. Almost as frustrating as the game itself.

Frustrating.

5 for 12 from the line

2 for 14 from three

27 for 69 from the floor and down by only 5.

With Sonya we win this easily.

Shorthanded Texas falls to ISU in Ames, 66-61. Vic’s first loss to ISU at Texas

3 Big 12 losses, all on the road - 4, 4 and 5 points

Abysmal FT shooting again. 5-12. Seriously, hit half those misses and make a 3 and maybe we win. The FT shooting is a big concern, we won’t get far in the tournament with that

Rori had 19 and Jak had 10. ISU had 4 double digit scorers. Really letdown by Holle and Shaylee tonight. Tentative and not willing to shoot it

Big12 will come down to that game in Norman. OU has only dropped 1 home game all year so they're the favorites now.

Ou still has to go to Lawrence and Stillwater. Not so fast. But we can make it all moot if we win in Norman. Almost 2 more weeks for Sonya to rest

You're not allowed to touch Joens.

WBB game officiating is always a problem. No ability to guard or move without it being a foul

OU barely beat Oklahoma State at home and they're a borderline top 25 team.

That's far from a guaranteed win for OU.

Our non-shooting guards only took 12 shots combined.

Harmon kept passing to them and they just passed it back and Rori had to put it up.

We recruited Shaylee to score. She needs to score. She’s not going to get yanked

Texas dropped from a 3 seed to a 4 seed in Creme's new update.

We are the 4 seed in UConn's Seattle 1 regional.

Baylor dropped to a 7
Kansas is an 8
USC is an 8
ISU is a 5
OSU is a 9
USF is a 6
OU is a 5

Vic’s update on Sonya today:

”She’s listed as day-to-day but didn’t practice yesterday. We want her back, but it’s going to take some time.”

Thanks for the update.

Dammit!

Not that much time left in the season. Thigh contusions that bad or something else I wonder?

Texas and OU tied at 11-3, 2.5 games ahead of ISU and OSU, who both have trap games today - ISU @ Baylor and OSU @ Tech.

OU plays KU tomorrow. Hate cheering for KU, but damn, go Jayhawks tomorrow

Moderate to severe thigh contusions can take 4-6 weeks. Blah, seems unlikely we will have Morris back by next Saturday in Norman and maybe not even the following Monday against Baylor. Morris had 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists against OU and 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists against Baylor.

Baylor blew another 4th Q lead at home and lost to ISU in 2OT. OSU needed 3OT to beat Tech in Lubbock

TCU picks up their first Big 12 win against KSU
