February 25, 20232 yr Texas leads 27-23 at half. Low scoring favors Texas. Edited February 25, 20232 yr by Js1
February 25, 20232 yr Can't ask for a better showing from our defense in the first half. Hopefully adrenaline can outweigh fatigue in the second half
February 25, 20232 yr Just like in Austin, a big 3Q by Texas. 51-37 after 3 We could stand to rebound a bit better on the defensive end
February 25, 20232 yr Gonna have to score to win. Bigs about to start fouling out and Scott and Williams will be getting layups.
February 25, 20232 yr Is this Vic's best coaching job to date? All these injuries and a great chance to win the Big 12. It won't happen but Vic should be the NCOY based on all the injuries. Very few coaches could have Texas in this position.
February 25, 20232 yr The only shitty part of this is Texas would be legit national title contenders this year if they were even remotely healthy.
February 25, 20232 yr I know we got spanked by Iowa State not long ago but OU and Iowa State are just not good match ups against Schaefer teams. These offensive minded teams get punched in the face and they don't know what to do.
February 25, 20232 yr A split in our final 2 gives us the Big 12 title (at least a share) and the #1 seed Texas should move up to a 3 in Bracketology (no more reveals) Edited February 25, 20232 yr by Js1
February 25, 20232 yr Hell of a defensive performance by Texas today. Now we have 48 hours to recover and prep for Baylor

Now we have 48 hours to recover and prep for Baylor Unlike our trip to Norman last year, which was Vic’s first time seeing this OU offense under Jennie B. Hasn’t been competitive for them since Texas destroys the Sooners. 67-45 Sole possession of 1st
February 25, 20232 yr Since the bad loss in Lubbock, Texas has won 9/10 and the only loss was on the road against Iowa State. Vic's teams always start peaking at this time of the year and this year is no different.
February 25, 20232 yr Other than FT shooting and barely being outrebounded, we dominated them defensively
February 25, 20232 yr All of my bitching and it was pretty comfortable the whole quarter. nice to hear the despair in the sooner broadcast crew, including the wish casting that Texas has a quick turnaround for Baylor and has to go to manhattan to finish up.

Meanwhile they have to go to Stillwater for a hot OSU team. I’d rather be us than them
February 25, 20232 yr Well done, ladies. Always fun to spank the Sooners. Wish we had Vic's equal on the men's side.
February 25, 20232 yr Saw that OU has yet to beat Texas in any athletic competition in the 22-23 season.
February 26, 20232 yr If OU loses to OSU, that should lock them up into the 2 and 3 seeds (OSU would actually be the 2 based on having a win over Texas) and ensure Texas will face ISU as the 4 seed
February 26, 20232 yr Overlooked yesterday was Holle’s defense on Taylor Robertson. 2-8 (2-7 BTA) for 6 points. Holle then chipped in 11 points on 4-8 shooting (3-4 BTA), all in the 3rd Q, to help us pull away. Played 38.5 minutes. Rori and Shaylee with another 40 min each game. Really need Morris back. Robertson and Madi Williams is a deadly duo and they went a combined 5-19 (2-8) for 14 points. I bet we win by 30 if it weren’t for their 17 offensive boards for 21 second chance points. Also Taylor Jones with 5 blocks off the bench! Coach JB was very respectful in the postgame press conference as well. It’s hard to not hate an OU and Baylor coach, but between the whining from coaches like Fennelly and the bitch from Lubbock, JB and NC come across as very classy and respectful of Vic and his program. If she transitions into a 6th "woman" role this team would be a lot better than her as a starter. Morris is more of spark plug off the bench and I think Holle does other things we need in the starting 5.
February 26, 20232 yr If Muhammad develops any type of offensive game she's going to be a special player. She's already the best offensive rebounder on the team and creates a lot of issues on the defensive end with her athleticism/length. I can tell Vic really loves her. She played limited minutes yesterday but came in throwing her body around and you could tell that Vic loved it.
February 26, 20232 yr Also forgot to shout out Vic’s dig at the officiating. Said he’s tired of our post players being called for fouls bc they’re bigger than other players. Faye and Jones especially.
February 26, 20232 yr Kansas is actually a 2 point favorite over OKST today, and then they'll probably be slight underdogs against @WVU and OU. Wouldn't surprise me at all if OKST loses 2 of their last 3 and falls to 4th in conference

February 26, 20232 yr Kansas beat OKST rather routinely. OKST is in real danger of losing their final 3 games
