Texas Women’s Basketball 2022-2023: Get on board or get out the damn way

Featured Replies

10-4 overall. 8-1 with Rori and 7 in a row. 2-3 without her.

Next two Big 12 games should be easy: @ TCU and @ OSU. Then back to back ranked teams - KU and ISU at home. @ Tech, @ Baylor, OU, OSU.

Would love to see a 7-1 January to build on this momentum since Rori came back. Would say 8-0 but we have 4 ranked teams and they’re both back to back (KU/ISU and then Baylor/OU) and I think we drop at least one of those.

This court looks like shit.

I’ll add that the commentary is shit and the officiating is also shit.

Double double for Rori and she has 9 assists

TCU might finish this game with 50 freethrow attempts

And still lose because they shot 35% and got killed on the boards

SHE GOT THE TRIPLE DUB. With 55 seconds left

And Texas wins 81-69

Big Congrats to Rori!

Historical performance, they pressured her all night and she still got the triple double.

Unbelievable talent, so glad she's ours.

If Rori didn't miss the start of the season she would be right in the mix for national player of the year.

Fuck you TCU

F'n Gallagher-Iba - hate that place. Hopefully they will keep their prego's away from the court.

26-20 Texas after 1

Garzon and Alnatas are a huge problem

OSU can’t fucking miss. 45-36 OSU with 3 min left in the half.

Also spied Taylor Jones about to check in

This is just not a good team. Vic needs to hit the portal this off-season hard.

We had big hopes but Rori getting hurt early, Jones being hurt, Moore now out for the year and Morris/Gonzales can’t seem to ever have a good game at the same time. They’re both streaky too and their defense is a work in progress

Morris needs to be on the floor if OSU is going to play zone

49-41 OSU at the half. Texas 1-4 from three against the zone. OSU 6-12

No idea why Morris isn’t in against a zone defense

OKST on pace to drop almost 100 on us. Vic must be losing his mind internally

What makes this performance worse is the ESPN app has a glitch so it sends me an alert on every score.

Backdoor is killing Texas... need to shut that damn thing!!!

We get so close and then they pull away again close to 10. We lost to them in Stillwater in Vic‘s first season. But there’s no excuse

Texas players getting really frustrated with the officiating the last few minutes...

66-57 okie lite leads

1min left in 3rd

58-68. To the 4th
