Good for Napier.  Cox did throw a punch at a UGA blocker after the last Georgia TD.  He didn't get flagged even though it was pretty obvious.  He claims he was unaware, but he seems to be not saying anything that will hurt the player.  Incidently, Cox went to UGA before transferring to Florida.  Meanwhile Saban hasn't done anything publicly to the player who punched a Tennessee woman unprovoked after the Alabama/Tennessee game, who also, coincidentally went to UGA before transferring to Alabama.  Portal is not without drawbacks.

“"...Sometimes, you have to make decisions in the best interest of the team. Certainly, Brenton, we’re going to do everything we can do to help him with his transition. But it’s as simple as that, I think that we’ve decided to move on.”

Napier was asked if Cox threw a punch at the end of the Georgia game, but the head coach said he was unaware of such events. He declined to go into specifics, calling the decision a “cumulative effect...."”

Damn that was one of their most talented defenders. Former 5-star.

So he plays EDGE?

As long as he has no legal issues I am a big believer in second chances at positions of need.
