If Dicko's cuz pans out, we can legitimately lay claim to PU?

That depends... is that something we want to lay claim to?

They keep calling that a 59-yd punt - which it technically is from the LOS before the penalty is assessed - but he was about 1-2 into the end zone and it was muffed at the opponents 35. That's 66-67 in the air. Crazy.

The last several years have been bad enough without exaggerating. (McCoy, Shipley, Cosby, Orakpo, E. Thomas, Vacarro, etc. were in the last 10 years)

The positions they played seem to be easier to replace with talent. The things the punter was able to do hasn’t yet.

every 59 yard punt in nfl history went 66-67 in the air.  we know how punts work.

I'm afraid I'm going to need you to storyboard it for me.

That's 59 meters, Mr. Towns.  METERS!

Randall Cunningham had a 91 yard punt so it went 106 in the air.

You might want to take McCoy out of that list.

Yeah, I read that yesterday.

Apparently during yesterday's practice Dickson held for all of Janikowski's FG's (made all btw). First time Ryan didn't hold at least once for SJ. Carroll downplayed it as getting Dickson more experience at holding but he's previously only been holding for SeaBass on FG's. He held for an XP (for SJ) in the last game which was the first time in 11 years that someone other than Ryan did it. Add in the salary cap issue and Ryan's all but gone.

I’m guessing this is supposed to be a gif?  Why the fuck isn’t working for me

Net 62 yard punt out his own EZ.

Article said he’s avg 14 yds net per punt better than the incumbent John Ryan.

Watched a video the other night of kick returners getting tackled, Ryan had several tackles on there. He wasn’t covering punts but he was at least saving touchdowns.

Dicko said fuck dat. We ain’t letting them get going.

Honestly, every team that passed on him for so many rounds - each of their GM's should be fired.

When the announcers start getting excited to watch the punter perform...

You know that "he good".

For all of Ryan's posturing and bitching, Carroll is doing him a solid by making it an open competition.  Dickson is going to be the next punter,  but Ryan's got a good chance of hooking on with another team at roster cuts because of all the air time he's getting.

Very true.  I imagine Ryan will be punting this year, just not in Seattle.

No shame. The end result was going to be the same no matter what team he went to.
