126 wpm is holy shit

Not an expert, but I felt pretty good with 63.

in grade school the teacher masked cardboard sheets over an apple 2e and we were supposed to learn to touch-type blind.

i still type unconventionally to this day -- i shift my hands all over the keyboard and rarely use the pinkies.

I guess thats effective.

I am thankful every day that I took 2 semesters of typing in high school.  If I hunted and pecked I would have jumped off a bridge long, long ago.

Autoscroll on iphone standard size (and firefox browser)

surprised at the figure given its literally 2  (less nimble) digits on a tiny screen vs 2 hands on a full size kb

I can bang out 140+ on a full size keyboard (vs laptop).

Gonna haul my shit home from the office tomorrow and see if I can get close to gsoda

I thought I’d do better on a regular keyboard at my office today, but I still can’t seem to break 130.  157 is insane.

I took typing in high school because that was where the girls were but it probably was the most useful class I had.

137 with 100% accuracy.  lots of tiny words mess up the rhythm but regardless im not gonna reach 150...

Never took typing. I'm self taught hunt and peck.

Took typing 2 years in HS. Had all my credits and needed to fill time somewhere,  besides that's where all the hot chick's were. As another poster put it, I've used those skills throughout my adult life.  My best was 85 wpm  with 100% accuracy.  My future and ex sister in law routinely hit 170wpm. To make it worse...I married the wrong sister, fml.
