January 24, 20232 yr LJ cryer on fire—19 points. Great atmosphere tonight, but I’m sad we can’t sell out for a game against Kansas. Maybe when coach drew wins a championship he’ll get some respect. [emoji849][emoji849]
January 24, 20232 yr Ok I’ve never seen that before. Officials called both a foul on a flop on the same play.
January 24, 20232 yr Anyone else hear Schaumbi say to Bilas: ”I just bought an air fryer” my son said Jay should have replied: Should’ve went with the Peleton, John.”
January 24, 20232 yr Author KU needed to foul there. Strange. Texas B12 champs 2023. Let's speak it into existence.
January 24, 20232 yr Well shit, here comes Baylor. We better handle those assholes at Moody next week. Still some business to do first though. Got to finish the sweep of OSU.
January 24, 20232 yr goddamn meat grinder this year. Tech is the "weakling" this season and they gave us plenty of run in Austin a few games ago. We're gonna beat the shit out of each other, but there will be a couple of salty teams come out of this conference in march.
January 24, 20232 yr yep, then different conference officials will fuck a couple of teams for their physical style of play!! Which teams can adjust better?? and different rules of play can stroke me off……

January 24, 20232 yr I liked the part where Ku took the lead and they Baylor kicked their nuts and quickly went back up double digits. 3 losses in a row for Kansas lol

Well, we got the doors beaten off of us last year in KC by Tech. I do think this team has a "win the conference tourney" vibe to it, but we'll have to see. Would be pretty awesome in year 2 for TJ. It cracks me up (ok, infuriates) how everyone shits on the conference tournament in basketball and says the regular season championship is the real one, but then in football when ISU finishes the regular season atop the league standings but loses the rematch CCG to OU, we don't get to claim a damn thing and have to see that fucking "1912" graphic for another season. January 24, 20232 yr The Big 12 tournament is usually the most exciting week of basketball. Every game is usually so good.
January 24, 20232 yr I wish the teams would orchestrate the tournament so that all the at-large teams win enough to remain in the ncaa tourney, but a team that wouldn’t make it (like tech or wvu if standings hold) wins it to get one more team in.
January 24, 20232 yr KU is going to get destroyed by Oscar at UK this weekend. Baylor had 17 offensive boards. Big part of why KU lost despite shooting 100% from the line and shooting over 40%. Everyone sucked dick outside of Dick and Wilson

I've only been once (2015) and it was vs KU in the final. We went to all 3 of ISU's games (that was the year we beat y'all and OU on buzzer beaters). Every game was a come from behind and eventually you just wanted to win in order to keep the party rolling as opposed to nabbing some hardware. We took pictures with those UT guys that always go and sit together, did shots with Bob Huggins' kids, and just generally drank way too much and spend too much money. It's probably the most fun I've had (and will ever have) at a sporting event.

January 25, 20232 yr Nowell’s ability to blindly heave a ball in the general vicinity of the hoop and nail the shot while being a borderline midget is nuts. Mad respect Edited January 25, 20232 yr by Al_4_ISU
January 25, 20232 yr 3 way tie for first, but those teams only a game up on 3 other teams And the bottom 4 can beat any of the top 6 easily Best conference in America

January 25, 20232 yr The Top 6 in this league are absurd right now. All within a game, only one with 5 losses.

January 26, 20232 yr Texas Tech fans really tried to convince themselves that hiring a 64 year old with a 44-90 record at the D1 level was a great hire. Not only did they try to convince themselves they were obnoxious as hell about it. Those morons deserve this hell after all the shit they talked.
January 26, 20232 yr 15 minutes ago, Pancho said: Tech fans already claiming they will be going after McCasland and Adams is stepping down at the end of the season Mark was only successful in year 1 because of the carryover of players and culture Beard had built. Now they’re learning what 2 years removed from Beard looks like with Adams. Maybe they should have done an actual nationwide coaching search instead of hiring from within. I wonder how CDC will handle our coaching search
