That's actually good. It applies to so many issues. Well done.

Wow.

Just when I think Garrison can’t really be a bigger racist hack, he goes and tops himself.

Plus, he’s a shitty artist.

Those are nowhere near his best stuff but there is not one racist thing about either of those cartoons.  The cartoons have nothing to do with the color of her skin and everything to do with her economic philosophy.

The "Open Borders" dog whistle is racist.

Not a fan of his work at all, too much shit going on in all his images. The best political cartoons are simple strong images.

And no, nothing racist about them unless there's some dog whistle shit I'm missing.

Nope, a swing and a miss, but par for your course.

It is a racist dog whistle. Claiming it isn't is disingenuous.

If you're a dog I guess,  it worked on yer ass.

OK, little buddy.

She's actually gorgeous and charming and Trump is a bloated furious pumpkin faced grouch. That cartoon is the reverse of reality. Trump is thoughtful and handsome and she's a raging donkey woman??? It's a ridiculing sexist histrionic hispanic caricature not unlike the Cleveland Indians mascot or a Sambo cartoon.

It's racist shit and aesthetically and thematically repugnant.

Trump looks like Robert Redford. And she's a rage machine??? Has this man seen that dancing video, or Trump ever!

Total bullshit fuckstick hackfest garbage illustration. Not funny, not subtle and about as artistically appealing as Trump playing football or poker.

He's crap.

Gotta admit, the Nancy and Chuck moment post "liar side chat" was cringe and ridicule worthy.

Good political satire should make you laugh at both teams regardless of your affiliations.

Which is why Ben Garrison is trash.

I don't care if you slam dems or suck Trump's cock -- at least in the arena of satire.  The only commandment is "be clever/funny."  He's neither.

Yeah he sucks beyond belief.  Waaaay too complicated imagery, and not a simple, single message being conveyed thru a single strong image.

Point to me where the racism is.

Woulda worked better as a wheel of fortune joke

The bottom one yeah, but that's not really anything to say racist about.

Ha Ha, cartoon making fun of stupid old people in red hats who think they are "winning" when they just lost the House in a historic landslide and their president has historically low approval ratings is funny.

I honestly don't get anything about that cartoon.   Is "12 years" a reference to anything?  Or, even dumber, are they making fun of her for being upset about something that is so far away -- 12 whole years -- and, like, who can think that far in the future?  Is there anything to think that the end of the Dems is near?  Are they not ahead everywhere?   Does AOC even have an "end is near" message any more than any other Dem?  Is her presence in the cartoon completely arbitrary?

Well, a lot of them will be dead by then, so they aren't worried about it. Whatever "it" is.

Was clicking through some Branco cartoons.  I especially like the contrast of these two.

2017.  Boy, we hate some establishment Republicans.

2018:  Boy, is everyone going to turn out for establishment Republicans or what.

How dumb does he think his audience is?  A red wave needs to be labeled "red wave"?

The thing about Branco and Garrison is they’re not about humor, at all.  They’re about propaganda and reinforcing a distorted perception of reality.

Basically this:

The 12 years is a reference to a quote AOC made where she claimed the world would end due to climate change twelve years from now.

Maybe she was talking dog years ?  She says some damn silly shit for someone being held up as a beacon of the next democrat generation.

Establishment dims want to run against her in primary.

Her comments are in reference to a United Nations-backed climate report, published late last year, that determined the effects of climate change to be irreversible and unavoidable if carbon emissions are not reined in over the next 12 years.
