Because political cartoons are the focus of this thread, here’s a link to Ann Telnaes’ substack which explains that she quit because she was told not to portray turnip, Altman, Besos, Zuckerberg, and Soon-Shiong in a negative way. It was the first time she had been called off an idea because of who she was spotlighting. It also has the rough draft and f the cartoon in question.

This is a real holy shit.

That is sort of a happy picture, all things considered. If the Christians are right (correct), he'll find his way to flames one day.

Follow up post on her substack, thanking folks for their support. Including fellow cartoonists, several of whose cartoons were published. Here’s one by Barry Blitt. Go to the link to view the others.

Perfect representation of what politics means to conservatives.

So is that fucking guy a king in this scenario, or a queen?

That gulf is filled with the unvoting who acquiesce to what we've ended up with.

Actually, the number of informed voters is absurdly high. They'd be a little group of converted GOPs and constantly disappointed Dems in a canoe on the gulf.

That or Nasty Woman.

I'd suggest The Human Republic of Transexual, but he'd send the Army and Marines for sure and put everybody to the sword.

The Christian Right would cheer. The insecure, scared white men in red hats would high five.

The non-voting or undecided will be too focused on things that really matter.

There's a lot of usable language in that cartoon. Piss cloud perm? I'm using it.
