World Cup Day 8 - Japan/Costa Rica, Belgium/Morocco, Croatia/Canada, Spain/Germany

The Germans have to be a completely different team than it was in the first game. They were bad.

I don’t see an identity for this team. I don’t see a personality. Werner being out doesn’t help but, there should be quality depth.

They are just, blah.

Lalas have jaundice?

I've been watching on Telemundo 90% of the time but I turned it on fox for the pregame before England-USA and my gf mentioned that same thing. Looked rough

Yeah, this doesn't look like the Germany we've all watched for years.  This looks like Muller, Gundogan, Neuer, and a bunch of JAGs.

And Rudiger, of course

This game just needs a first goal. Entertaining so far, but a goal will really open things up even more.

I was commenting during their first game about how shaky their backline is.

Came home to roost today.

I like how Fox is relentless pushing tomorrow's game as the battle between Ronaldo and Suarez.

Sidebar: both of these kits are perfection.

Prefer when Spain wear their blue shorts with the red jerseys

That's a nice finish, letting it run by and striking with the outside of the foot.

Wtf with that late as shit flag. Are they calling it in over the headsets?

Yes, using the “semi-automated offsides system” which takes a few seconds to process.
