Great ball by Bruno.  No touch by Ronaldo despite the wishes of Fox and FIFA.

That doesn't seem like the right call.

I think it's an obvious handball. He stopped the ball with his hand. Why wouldn't that be given?

Yeah, seems like an obvious pen to me too.  He juked me so bad I had to put my hand down to not fall on my ass isn't a good excuse to me.

I agree with that call. If his hand had already been on the ground, and bracing his body, then perhaps I’d give the benefit of the doubt. But his hand stopped the ball, before the hand was on the ground.

I think it's a natural position of the player as he goes down. I get why it's called, but I don't think it's intentional in the spirit of the rule.

Impressive for Portugal to advance in this group before the last matchday.  Their mission is now to avoid Brazil in the Round of 16

except he STOPPED the ball from continuing on with his hand.

I agree that if his arm was down first it probably  wouldnt have been called. but he clearly stopped the entire momentum of the ball with his literal hand.

Hes honestly lucky he didnt get a yellow (or even the technically correct red) card for stopping a 1 on 1 v the keeper with his hand.

Uruguay, Mexico, and Tunisia are the only teams without a goal so far after 2 matches played by all 32.

And? In a natural position, it shouldn't matter if he stopped the ball.

Like I said given that he stopped it, I get why they called it. But I just think it's harsh. It's in his body (but yes, low).

But, he stopped the ball.......with his hand. 🤔
