I wish membership would demand that the sales people don’t initiate. Phones at the front and new bathroom/hvac at the exit are the worst.  Even the free sample people should be furniture until spoken to.

It’s also very easy to walk by and say “No thank you”.

They’re just doing their job.

You guys get Surly over the most trivial shit. 😆

The taste of momofuku's is far superior. I've also ordered a bunch of comparable chili oils from amazon. The mf product is the best I've tried. Compared in particular to lao gan ma, the ingredients tell the story.

Also the mushroom powder, I believe.  Same effect.

They have a sign up.  I know if I want to get my ATT needs addressed where to go.

They don't have to say shit.  Neither do I.

Bought this today, 16 links on sale for $11. Will have to come up with a few different ideas to use 'em.

I buy these by the bulk when they're available, which in Houston is only a few months a year. And yes, they're usually $15 but you can get the 4 or 5 off at the register deals, it makes it great. I usually buy 3 or 4 packages and stick them in my storage freezer in the garage and break them out in sections.

Outside of just using them as hot dogs, cutting them up and doing cajun flavored stir-fries is a favorite in our house.

We had a client from an African country who came to work in our office for training for a full year.  He furnished his apartment from Sam's as much as possible (yes, I know this is a Costco thread) and at the end of the year went and returned everything that was not consumable (STAINED mattresses, sheets, tv, tables, flatware, plates, etc.).  Sam's took every bit of it back. Incredible.  He is now the Chairman of the Board of the National Oil Company of that country.

Is there any way that I can get a message to him about a great opportunity in helping me defraud my  country out of millions of dollars? I can give him 80% and all I need is his bank account information..

Regarding andouille sausage, it is a natural in gumbo or red beans.

There was a thread where y’all were lamenting the difficulty in finding inside skirt for fajitas. A cursory search didn’t find that thread so I’m putting this here.

You can find inside skirt anywhere. It’s the far superior outside cut that’s difficult to find.

Am I the only person who never never never buys "pre-seasoned" meats?

I mean, I guess I get the Mexican market angle, but I'm sure not trusting vac-packed CostCo crap.  I can season and/or brine any protein in my sleep.

I buy that all the time. It’s really good but it does need a bit more seasoning when you grill it.

It's the worst thing about Costco. The St. Louis spares that they season are godawful.

The HEB fajit seasoned chicken thighs for tacos are actually perfectly seasoned. Seriously, I’ve never bought any pre-seasoned meat that I didn’t mess with/adjust, but they don’t need a thing. Grill, slice, have great chicken tacos.

The Mi Tienda skirt steak fajitas are the same way. We have them 2-3 times a month usually.

Huge fan of the Mi Tienda brand.  I'm not doing tamales anymore.  They do it as well as I can, and I just need to swipe my debit card!

We are happy enough - particularly in short on time, grab and grill mode - with Central Market chipotle lime marinated chicken breast and sirloin.

Top to bottom that line is great. From bulk chilis to pre seasoned meat products.
