December 3, 20223 yr I go through them at least every other year. The under the knee style. I have gone through lacrosse and muck a few times, but wondering if there are some that are similar quality at a better price. Out on the Magellan or wal mart ones. Probably not but worth a shot.
December 3, 20223 yr I have Muck that do the job for me but it sounds like you spend more time in yours than I do.
December 3, 20223 yr Price isn't what you're looking for for, but I prefer Xtratuf. Same pair I used in my commercial fishing days, lasted another two years after. When those finally went, bought another pair that will last me my lifetime.

December 6, 20223 yr Author My Xtratufs have been awesome, would definitely buy again.Looks like TSC Carries this brand, nice. I will give them a try. If I don’t like them I will neg you next year.
December 10, 20223 yr I’ve had a pair of Brazos boots from Academy for at least a decade, and they’re still in great shape. They’re on the heavier side, but when I’m in the mud and thorny brush, I consider that a fair trade off for the extra thickness. Guess it depends on what you need them for. I’d go with something much lighter if it was dockside/boating work. And I’d say Hunter boots are the most comfortable I’ve ever worn, but I really only wear them when I’m doing family-type chores in heavy rain (taking to school, trip to the pharmacy, etc). Can’t attest to their durability through heavy mud, brush, concrete, and other more rugged needs.
